摘要： A display apparatus includes a substrate, gate lines disposed on the substrate, data lines extending across the gate lines, and pixels connected to the gate lines and the data lines. The pixels arranged in a matrix of rows and columns. The pixels disposed in the same columns are alternately connected to data lines disposed to the left or right sides of the column. The pixels may be disposed in different display areas of the substrate. Adjacent pixels in the same columns but in different display areas may be connected to the same data line.

摘要： A gate driving circuit includes a plurality of stages which are connected to each other one after another and each stage of the plurality of stages outputs a gate voltage to a corresponding gate line of a plurality of gate lines in response to at least one clock signal. Each stage of the plurality of stages includes; a voltage output part which outputs the gate voltage, an output driving part which drives the voltage output part, a holding part which holds the gate line at an off-voltage, and a discharge part arranged at a first end of the gate line to discharge the gate line to the off-voltage in response to the gate voltage output from the voltage output part.

摘要： A display apparatus includes a plurality of first gate lines extended in a first direction and disposed on a substrate on which a plurality of pixels is disposed, a plurality of second gate line extended in a second direction to cross the first gate lines, a plurality of data lines disposed substantially parallel to the first gate lines, and a first insulating layer disposed between the first gate lines and the second gate lines and provided with a plurality of via holes to expose a portion of a corresponding first gate line of the first gate lines. Each of the first gate lines makes contact with a corresponding second gate line of the second gate lines through a corresponding via hole of the via holes.

摘要： A liquid crystal display includes a first substrate including pixels arranged in m columns by n rows, n data lines disposed, m gate lines arranged substantially parallel to the data lines, n data distribution lines arranged to cross the m gate lines and electrically connected to the data lines, respectively, source driving chips disposed on a first portion of the first substrate, and a gate driver disposed on a second portion of the first substrate. Each of the data distribution lines is connected to a subset of the pixels arranged in a corresponding row, and each of the gate lines is connected to a subgroup of the pixels arranged in a corresponding column. The source driving chips apply data signals to the pixels through the first data lines and the data distribution lines, and the gate driver applies gate signals to the pixels through the gate lines.
