    摘要: An output voltage of a commercial power source 1 is rectified through a diode 2, and partially dropped at a voltage drop element 19. Electric power supply to a heater 8 is controlled by a heater controller 7, which is activated in response to an output of a heater control actuator 4. A timer 5 counts time. When a predetermined period of time has passed, heater control actuator 4 causes heater controller 7 to open the power supply circuit of heater 8 so as to forcibly stop the power supply to heater 8. An output terminal of voltage drop element 19 is connected in series with at least two of heater control actuator 4, timer 5 and sensor 20.

    摘要: A light transmitting screen capable of directing and focusing light images falling thereon, comprising a plurality of lens systems, each having a particular optical axis, making up the screen elements and each of which transmits parallel light rays incident thereon such that the light rays emerge parallel to each other. The lens systems may be of different refractive powers and have their optical axes disposed in parallel or at varying angles with each other and all are adjacently arranged in the form of a flat, curved or segmented screen with front and rear surfaces. When light is incident upon the screen from one side, the light rays pass through and are directed by the individual systems in accordance with the arrangement of their optical axes and refractive powers, so that many varying optical and lighting effects may be achieved on the other side. Each lens system may comprise a series of suitable lens surfaces arranged on a common optical axis or an optical cylinder or fiber guide.

    摘要: A front body construction of a motor vehicle includes a lower dash panel for separating an engine compartment and a cabin and a cowl portion provided on the lower dash panel such that a lower end of a windshield is supported at an upper portion of the cowl portion. The cowl portion includes an upper dash panel attached to an upper end portion of the lower dash panel so as to form a bottom wall of the cowl portion and a front cowl panel attached to an upper face of the upper dash panel so as to form a front wall of the cowl portion. The front cowl panel has, in a lateral direction of a vehicle body, opposite sides and a central portion such that space for an auxiliary unit is provided not only forwards of the front cowl panel in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, but also on at least one of the opposite sides of the front cowl panel. At least one of the opposite sides of the front cowl panel is disposed rearwards of the central portion of the front cowl panel in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and the lower end of the front cowl panel is disposed, on at least one of the opposite sides of the front cowl panel, at a location identical with that of or rearwards of an upper end of the lower dash panel in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body.

    摘要: A microfiche on which a large number of characters are formed in an alternating arrangement is movable behind a mask in such a manner that at each position of the microfiche relative to the mask a desired group of characters is displayed through respective apertures in the mask. Lenses are disposed behind the apertures to project images of the characters therethrough onto a viewing screen. A reflection support member is disposed behind the microfiche and is formed with a stepped surface on which are disposed a plurality of concave reflectors, one reflector behind each lens. A lamp radiates light onto the reflectors, from which the light is reflected and focussed into the respective lenses, thereby illuminating the characters on the microfiche from behind. The radii of curvature and light receiving frontal areas of the reflectors differ in accordance with the distances of the reflectors from the lamp and the respective lenses.
