摘要: One embodiment disclosed relates a method of detecting a patterned electron beam. The patterned electron beam is focused onto a grating with a pattern that has a same pitch as the patterned electron beam. Electrons of the patterned electron beam that pass through the grating un-scattered are detected. Another embodiment relates to focusing the patterned electron beam onto a grating with a pattern that has a second pitch that is different than a first pitch of the patterned electron beam. Electrons of the patterned electron beam that pass through the grating form a Moiré pattern that is detected using a position-sensitive detector. Other embodiments, aspects and features are also disclosed.

摘要: An X-ray CT apparatus includes: an X-ray generating unit configured to generate an X ray; an X-ray detecting unit including a plurality of X-ray detectors, each configured to detect the X ray generated from the X-ray generating unit and transmitted through an object; and an image generating unit configured to correct and reconstruct signals acquired by the X-ray detecting unit. While crosstalk correction of a plurality of the X-ray detectors is performed at the image generating unit, correction of a locally attenuating component is previously performed and correction of a whole component of the crosstalk is performed when the image is reconstructed.

摘要: Scattered X-rays scattered by an object or a structure enter in a detector (a shift detector) for detecting the positional shift of an X-ray focal point and become a noise source, thereby deteriorating the positional shift detection precision. In particular, the estimation of the dose of scattered X-rays originating from the object is difficult prior to the measurement, and correction of the scattered X-rays is important in order to precisely calculate the positional shift of the X-ray focal point. In order to address this drawback, according to the present invention, a scattered X-ray detector 6 is provided which measures the dose of scattered rays entering in a shift detector 5 for detecting the positional shift of an X-ray focal point 9, and has a function that the output by the shift detector 5 is corrected using the scattered ray dose measured by the scattered X-ray detector.

摘要: An eye part detecting device has an image input section (21) for acquiring a face image, an eyelid edge labeling section (24) for detecting upper eyelid candidates and lower eyelid candidates which satisfy predetermined conditions for upper eyelids or lower eyelids in the face image, and an eyelid determination section (27) for comparing combinations of the upper and lower eyelid candidates to determine the combination of the upper and lower eyelid candidates whose relation best satisfies a predetermined condition as the upper and lower eyelids. The eyelid edge labeling section (24) classifies the horizontal edges and vertical edges calculated by an edge calculating section (23) into the upper eyelid candidates and the lower eyelid candidates according to a degree of how well the predetermined conditions are satisfied. A lower eyelid candidate evaluating section (26) may be provided for excluding a lower eyelid candidate when it has at least one horizontal edge present in a lateral direction of the lower eyelid candidate. A lower eyelid candidate discriminating section (25) may be provided for discriminating that of the lower eyelid candidates whose vertical edge does not satisfy the predetermined condition as a lower eyelid preliminary candidate.

The oil circulation passage includes a first passage for the oil to flow to the first heat-generating portion when the oil surface in the catch tank is at a first height and a second passage for the oil to flow to the second heat-generating portion when the oil surface is at a second height lower than the first height, and more amount of oil flows to the second heat-generating portion than to the first heat-generating portion when the oil surface is low.

摘要: A dispensing container according to the invention includes a container body having a rod-like shape, The dispensing container is therefore compact and the user can hold the dispensing container as if the user holds a pen and use the thumb, the index finger, and any other finger to apply pressure to the dispensing container so as to dispense a drug solution. A heat insulating grip is attached to the outer circumferential surface of the container body, whereby heat originating from the body temperature of a finger of the user will not be transferred to the drug solution or volatilize it. No excessive dispensing that is not intended by the user will therefore occur. Since the container body is thin and hence unlikely crashed, the user can make adjustment of the pressure applied by the thumb, the index finger, and any other finger to readily extract a single droplet.

摘要: A radiological imaging apparatus of the present invention comprises an image pickup device and a medical examinee holding device that is provided with a bed. The image pickup device includes a large number of radiation detectors and radiation detector support plates. A large number of radiation detectors are mounted around the circumference of a through-hole and arranged in the axial direction of the through-hole. The radiation detectors are arranged in three layers formed radially with respect to the center of the through-hole and mounted on the lateral surfaces of the radiation detector support plates. Since the radiation detectors are not only arranged in the axial direction and circumferential direction of the through-hole but also arrayed in the radial direction, it is possible to obtain accurate information about a γ-ray arrival position in the radial direction of the through-hole (the positional information about a radiation detector from which a γ-ray image pickup signal is output). The use of accurate information about γ-ray arrival increases the tomogram accuracy. As a result, the present invention enhances the, tomogram accuracy, that is, the PET examination accuracy.
