摘要: A device for attenuating pulsation of a fluid in a piping system comprises fluid-branching pipes extending from the piping system in which there are pulsation waves, and a plurality of orifice elements and a plurality of discs disposed in a dispersed fashion and having a small reflection factor of the pulsation wave and having a total friction factor greater than that of the entire piping system, thereby providing the effect of attenuating the pulsation of the fluid within the system without increasing the resistance of the piping system without increasing power consumption.

摘要: A metal mold manufacturing method is provided, which is capable of forming a metal mold having a plurality of transfer surfaces with positions of optical axes being different by a lathe at high accuracy. An n-th (n is an integer of 1 to 4) side surface SDn of a material 1 of the metal mold abuts against an X-axis directional reference plane 2b of a jig 2, an (n+1)th side surface (but n=1 when n is 4) of a material 1′ of the metal mold abuts against a Y-axis directional reference plane 2c of the jig 2, and the material 1 of the metal mold is thus fixed to the jig 2. Subsequently, the n-th transfer surface is formed by cutting the material 1′ of the metal mold while rotating the jig 2 and the material 1 of the metal mold together by a lathe. Thereafter, the steps are repeated in a way that raises n by one.

摘要: To provide a lens unit producing method capable for positioning a lens array with high precision over a long period of time, a lens array, and a lens unit. When the first flat surfaces LA1f come in contact with the respective tapered surfaces HLD1, the glass lens array LA1 cannot rotate more than that for the holder HLD. Meanwhile, since the tapered surfaces HLD1 are regulated by the respective opposite first flat surface LA1f, the glass lens array LA1 cannot move more than that relatively to the holder HLD. That is, by holding the glass lens array LA1 with the holder HLD, the glass lens array LA1 can be positioned with high precision for the holder HLD.

摘要: An optical information recording and reproducing apparatus relating to the invention employs a two-beam interference method. In the optical information recording and reproducing apparatus, a moving device moves an information recording medium between a recording and reproducing position and a retracting position, and a mirror moves together with the information recording medium. When the information recording medium moves to the recording and reproducing position, the mirror moves to a position which is displaced from the at least one of the reference beam and the information beam. When the information recording medium moves to the retracting position, the mirror moves to a position where the mirror can reflect the at least one of the reference beam and the information beam toward a detector for detecting a deviation of the at least one of the reference beam and the information beam.

摘要: A pair of diagonal members are arranged to extend from a substantially central position of a rear end panel extending in a widthwise direction of a vehicle body toward respective junctions of rear frames and a cross member. An end of each of the diagonal members is jointed to the rear end panel, and the other end thereof is jointed to the rear frame together with an end of the cross member. In addition, a guard block protruding toward a bumper beam is detachably fixed to the substantially central position of the rear end panel. Thus, such a frame structure for a vehicle can disperse and absorb an impact load in a low-speed crash or an offset crash.

With this arrangement, it is possible to provide a power consumption characteristic which is substantially proportional to an air consumption.
