摘要： A liquid droplet discharge apparatus, which discharges liquid droplets of a liquid, includes: a flow passage unit which is formed with a plurality of nozzles for discharging the liquid droplets of the liquid and a plurality of liquid flow passages including a plurality of pressure chambers communicated with the plurality of nozzles respectively; an actuator which has a sealing plate joined to the flow passage unit for defining the plurality of pressure chambers and which applies a pressure to the liquid contained in each of the plurality of pressure chambers by changing a volume of each of the plurality of pressure chambers by deforming the sealing plate; and a deformation adjusting member which adjusts a deformation amount of the sealing plate.

摘要： There is provided a liquid droplet jetting apparatus, including: a liquid droplet jetting head in which a plurality of nozzles and a plurality of individual channels are formed; a purge mechanism; a judgment mechanism which judges whether or not a defective nozzle in which a jetting failure occurs is included in purge target nozzles; a heating mechanism which heats a liquid in the plurality of individual channels; and a controller which controls the purge mechanism and the heating mechanism. In a case that the judgment mechanism judges that the defective nozzle is included in the purge target nozzles, the controller controls the heating mechanism and the purge mechanism to heat the liquid in a part of the plurality of individual channels, which include an individual channel communicating with the defective nozzle, and to execute the purge operation for the purge target nozzles.

摘要： A liquid supply apparatus includes a container mounting portion and a liquid container. The liquid container includes a case configured to store liquid therein, a first movable member positioned in the case, a second movable member positioned on the case, and a retainer configured to retain the second movable member in the first position. The first movable member and the second movable member include a pair of magnetic materials. When the second movable member moves from a first position to a second position, the first movable member is released from a fixed state in which the first movable member is immovably fixed to the case by a magnetic force acting between the pair of magnetic materials.

摘要： A printer comprises an ink-jet head, and a control unit which has a judgment pattern printing control section. When a judgment pattern is printed, the judgment pattern printing control section allows the discharge of ink droplets of a second color to an area on which ink droplets of a first color are to be landed, before discharging the ink droplets of the first color having a small color difference with respect to a color of a medium. Accordingly, the ink discharge malfunction is reliably judged for the nozzle irrelevant to the color of the recording medium and the color of the ink discharged from the ink-jet head.
