摘要: A structure of a bush bearing includes: a bush on which a groove is formed; and an endless annular-shaped elastic member which is installed in the groove of the bush, and that supports a rack shaft, in which an inner circumferential surface of the bush includes a first inner circumferential surface that is in slide contact with an outer circumferential surface of the rack shaft, which is positioned opposite to a formation position of rack teeth, a second inner circumferential surface that faces the outer circumferential surface of the rack shaft with a gap interposed between the outer circumferential surface and the second inner circumferential surface, and the groove formed in a formation range of the first inner circumferential surface has a depth shallower than that of the groove formed in a formation range of the second inner circumferential surface.

摘要: One embodiment provides a power steering apparatus including: a worm gear that is rotated by receiving a driving force; a bearing member that supports the worm gear so as to make the worm gear rotatable; a worm wheel that is connected to the worm gear so as to be rotatable and apply a steering assist force to a steering wheel; and a support member that supports the bearing member so as to make the bearing member slidable in a crossing direction that crosses a rotating shaft of the worm wheel. The support member has a guide surface to guide the bearing member in the crossing direction therealong. The support member also has a holding portion that holds a lubricant in a recessed portion that is recessed from the guide surface.

The elastic body has elasticity and biases the radial bearing toward the worm wheel in a biasing direction. The elastic body includes a low-spring rate elastic body and a high-spring rate elastic body having a higher spring rate than that of the low-spring rate elastic body in series in the biasing direction.

摘要: A steering apparatus includes a collision relaxation member provided on a surface of a housing, the surface being opposed to each rack end in a vehicle width direction. The collision relaxation member includes an elastic member arranged in an outer side of a rack shaft in a radial direction and absorbing a collision load from the corresponding rack end, and a shock absorbing member provided in an inner peripheral side of the elastic member and buckling by abutting of the rack end.
