    摘要: A writable recording medium having reduced jitter, improved performance on repeated reproduction, improved light resistance, and sensitivity controllability is disclosed, in which a light-absorbing layer thereof contains (D-1) a cyanine dye having an absorption band in the wavelength region of light for recording or reproduction, (D-2) a cyanine dye having an absorption band in a shorter wavelength region than that of cyanine dye (D-1) and having a smaller absorption than that of cyanine dye (D-1) in the wavelength region of light for recording or reproduction, (Q-1) a quencher for preventing photo-deterioration of cyanine dyes, and (Q-2) a quencher selected from an azo compound and a diphenylamine compound, the weight ratio of cyanine dye (D-2) to cyanine dye (D-1), taken as .alpha., being from 1 to 3, the weight ratio of quencher (Q-1) to quencher (Q-2), taken as .beta., being from 0.5 to 1, the ratio of the total weight of quenchers (Q-1) and (Q-2) to the total weight of cyanine dyes (D-1) and (D-2), taken as .gamma., being from 0.25 to 0.5, and the product of .alpha. by .gamma. (.alpha..cndot..gamma.) being less than 1.1.

    摘要: A write once read many type optical disc comprises a light transmissive substrate having a tracking groove formed therein, a light absorbing layer disposed on a surface of the substrate on which the tracking groove is formed, and a light reflection layer disposed on the light absorbing layer, wherein an RMI value defined by the following formula is not lower than 0.22: RMI value=(I.sub.l -I.sub.g)I.sub.o, wherein I.sub.l denotes an electric potential at a land portion, I.sub.g denotes an electric potential at a groove portion, and I.sub.o denotes an electric potential at a mirror surface portion.When the write once read many type optical disc is caused to have a structure as described above, there may be provided the write once read many type optical disc having a good playability, i.e., the optical disc wherein the TE level may be provided assuredly on the basis of a value obtained from one beam.

    摘要: There is provided a layer-built chemical cell device, which comprises: a positive electrode including a current collecting material and an active material layer; a negative electrode including another current collecting material and another active material layer; an electrolyte introduced in a sealed space formed by fixing together the positive electrode and negative electrode; a separator layer interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The active material layer of either the positive electrode or the negative electrode is formed by laminating a plurality of active material sub-layers containing one or more active materials, such an active material layer being depositted on a current collecting material so as to form either the positive electrode or the negative electrode.
