摘要: A plasma display panel comprises a front substrate and a rear substrate, a plurality of row electrode pairs provided on the inner surface of the front substrate, a dielectric layer provided on the inner surface of the front substrate for coverring the row electrode pairs, a plurality of column electrodes provided on the inner surface of the rear substrate, a partition wall assembly provided between the front substrate and the rear substrate, said partition wall assembly including a plurality of longitudinal partition walls and a plurality of lateral partition walls, forming a plurality of discharge cells. In particular, the dielectric layer has a plurality of projection portions located corresponding to and protruding toward the lateral partition walls of the partition wall assembly, in a manner such that there would be no slots formed between the dielectric layer and the lateral partition walls.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a glass particle deposited body in which a taper portion formed at an end portion of the glass particle deposited body is reduced without increasing the number of burners. The invention allows the glass particle deposited body to be manufactured in such a manner that a plurality of glass particle synthesizing burners are arranged to be opposed to a rotating starting rod, wherein the starting rod and the glass particle synthesizing burners are relatively reciprocated to move a turn-back location of reciprocating movement in a certain direction, and then move the turn-back location of reciprocating movement in the reverse direction if the turn-back location is moved to a predetermined position, until each burner is returned to an initial position, which operation is defined as one set of operation, with an average reciprocating movement distance of one set being less than double a burner-to-burner interval, whereby the glass particles are deposited on the starting rod by repeating one set of operation.

摘要: A method of producing a glass blank with a high rate and high efficiency of deposition on a starting member is provided. A raw material powder including silica-glass-containing particles is transferred with a carrier gas and supplied into a flame, and the raw material powder and the flame are sprayed on a starting member to deposit the raw material powder on the starting member and form a porous body. The porous body is consolidated by heating.

摘要: A plasma display panel has a pair of substrates including a display side substrate and a back side substrate, a pair of opposed row electrodes disposed inside the display side substrate interposing a discharge gap, each of the row electrodes comprising a transparent conductive film and a metallic film formed on the transparent conductive film at a position opposite to the discharge gap, a dielectric layer covering the row electrodes. The dielectric layer includes a first dielectric layer formed on the inner surface of the display side substrate, a second dielectric layer formed on the first dielectric layer except the discharge gap and a third dielectric layer formed on the first and second dielectric layers.

摘要: An information recording medium comprising a pair of disk substrates at least one of which has an optical recording layer on one surface thereof, wherein the substrates are bonded to each other by using a silicone type adhesive, directly or by the medium of a spacer, so that the recording layer may be disposed inside of the substrates. Platinum is incorporated in the above-mentioned silicone type adhesive by using a platinum type crosslinking catalyst, without using the conventional benzoyl peroxide type crosslinking catalyst. Accordingly, there is provided the information recording medium excellent in mechanical strength, reliability and durability.
