摘要： A medical imaging apparatus is designed to acquire medical imaging data of a patient during a medical imaging examination and has a medical data acquisition scanner, which has a patient reception area at least partially enclosed by the scanner, inside of which a body area of a patient for examination is situated during the medical imaging examination. A positioning unit has a projector and at least one positioning surface situated inside the patient reception area. 摘要： In a computer-implemented method for scheduling customer appointments in one or more service centers, wherein at least some of the customers was a mobile device having a location tracking function and a message transmission function, a central appointments scheduling system manages customer appointments, which has assigned an available time window to at least one customer. A default of a customer appointment of a first customer is recorded. The position of at least one second customer, whose available time window overlaps with the defaulted customer appointment, is detected through the use of the location tracking function of the mobile device and communication of the position to the central appointments scheduling system. The expected travel time of the second customer to the service center is calculated and, if the travel time is shorter than the time remaining up to the start time of the defaulted appointment, an offer is sent to the second customer to accept the defaulted appointment. The defaulted customer appointment is given to the second customer upon acceptance by the second customer.

摘要： Sterile RF coil arrangements for use in magnetic resonance imaging are provided. The sterile coil arrangements can be formed by spraying or coating a curable liquid onto an RF coil housing and allowing the liquid to cure or dry to form a continuous sterile layer on the coil housing. The thickness of the sterile layer can be between 100 and 1000 micrometers. The curable liquid can include an antimicrobial or antibacterial agent, such as silver ions or triclosan, to better maintain sterility of the coil arrangement. The curable liquid can be selected such that it adheres to the housing when cured and is also removable without leaving residue behind.

摘要： In a medical imaging apparatus having a medical data acquisition scanner operated by a control computer, and an operating method therefor a gesture detector in communication with the control computer detects at least one input gesture made by a user and provides an electronic signal, in response to the at least one input gesture, to the control computer that causes the control computer to control an aspect of operation of said data acquisition scanner dependent on said at least one input gesture. Detection of the at least one input gesture by the gesture detector is activated by providing an activation signal to the gesture detector from an activation status controller in response to a manual input to the activation status controller made by the user, with the gesture detector being enabled to detect the at least one input gesture only after being provided with the activation signal.

摘要： A method for optimizing operation of at least one medical imaging apparatus, and a computer for implementing such a method, an appointment request from a patient, and at least one patient attribute, are entered into a computer, and the patient attribute is forwarded from the computer to the medical imaging apparatus. The medical imaging apparatus provides the computer with the duration of the medical imaging procedure to be conducted, as a function of the patient attribute, and forwards a designation of that duration to the computer. The computer selects an appointment dependent on the duration and the availability of the medical imaging apparatus. The selected appointment is stored by the computer.
