Abstract: In order to know a communication state similar to an actual usage state of a user over a wide area, provided is an information processing apparatus that sends and receives information to and from a communication terminal via a network. The information processing apparatus includes a log information acquiring section that acquires, from the communication terminal, one or more pieces of log information in which position information identifying each of one or more positions and information relating to a communication environment of the communication terminal at each of the one or more positions are associated with each other; and a statistical information generating section that generates statistical information relating to the communication environment at a position, based on the one or more pieces of log information.
