Abstract:
Methods of antenna selection in a wireless electronic device are provided. The methods include detecting movement of the wireless electronic device (a first wireless electronic device). The methods include selecting an antenna, among a plurality of antennas of the first wireless electronic device, in response to the movement of the first wireless electronic device. Moreover, the methods include measuring a positioning-related characteristic of a signal from a second wireless electronic device, using the antenna that was selected in response to the movement. Related wireless electronic devices are also provided.
Abstract:
A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium having instructions to analyze a characteristic of an ultrasonic signal that propagated on a body of a user of the computational device and effected by an on-body action, performed by the user, in an area in which the ultrasonic signal has propagated; determine one or more sides of the computational device at which the on-body action is performed relative to the computational device; and select an input based on an analysis of the ultrasonic signal and the one or more sides.
Abstract:
A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium having instructions to analyze a characteristic of an ultrasonic signal that propagated on a face of a user of the computational device and effected by an on-body touch, by the user, in an area in which the ultrasonic signal has propagated, wherein the characteristic includes at least one of facial expression or contraction state of a facial muscle; select an input based on an analysis of the ultrasound event; and perform an action specified by the input.
Abstract:
A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium having instructions to detect, via an ultrasound transducer, an ultrasound event that includes an ultrasound signal that is transdermally propagated on the body of a user and generated by an on-body touch in an area in which the ultrasound signal has propagated; detect a state of a limb of the user on which the device is worn, wherein the state is a contracted state or a relaxed state; and select an input based on the receipt of the ultrasound signal and the state of the limb. An accelerometer may be used to detect muscle tremor and determine whether the state of the limb.
Abstract:
A method for stabilization for use in a display system is provided. The method is performed in a first electronic device comprising a first display and a gaze tracking unit configured to track a gaze of a user of the first device. The first device is arranged to send an image signal to the second device. The second device comprises a second display. The method comprises sending the image signal from the first device to the second device, controlling the image signal by the first device, depending on the tracked gaze of the user, displaying the controlled image signal on the second display such that, when the user focuses on an object of a view of the first display, the object of the view on the second display is cropped and stabilized.
