Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide an information acquiring apparatus and method, and an electronic device, wherein the apparatus includes: a display control unit configured to control, according to a currently run application, to display operation options corresponding to the application; and a processing unit configured to process currently displayed information in response to a selected operation option, to acquire information related to the currently displayed information. Since the operation options are directly provided according to the application, and the information related to the currently displayed information is provided in response to the selected operation option, it is unnecessary to embed plugins into respective applications, thus required information can be acquired simply and conveniently.
