Abstract: A lockset that includes a latch assembly, an interior assembly and an exterior assembly. The latch assembly includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The interior assembly is configured to electronically control movement of the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position. The exterior assembly includes a locking assembly configured to be mechanically coupled with the latch assembly. The interior assembly includes an interior wireless communication unit and the exterior assembly includes an exterior wireless communication unit that is configured to wirelessly communicate therebetween. In some embodiments, an exterior assembly includes a photovoltaic cell and the interior assembly includes a light source. The light source and the solar cell are configured for wirelessly communicating and for power transmission between the exterior and interior assemblies through a bore hole in the door.

Abstract: A locking device with a bolt movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking device includes an electronic controller for selectively controlling movement of the bolt between the locked and unlocked position. At least two input devices are provided, such as a keypad, a biometric input, etc., which communicate an authentication code to the controller. The controller controls movement of the bolt based on a valid authentication code received from any of the at least two input devices.

Abstract: A remote control unit for a garage door having a garage door opener. The remote control unit includes a controller, at least one wireless communication unit in electrical communication with the controller and a user interface in electrical communication with the controller. Abstract: An interconnected locking system in which multiple locks may be interconnected to be locked and/or unlocked in a coordinated manner. In one embodiment, the locking system allows a user to lock or unlock a door with multiple locking points with a single activation of one of the locks, such as when a deadbolt or lever is activated. The multiple locking points communicate together wirelessly, for example, to activate all the locking points as desired or set by the user.
