摘要: A bearing assembly comprises at least one bearing element abutting against at least one adjacent part at a contact surface. The bearing assembly can be manufactured by disposing a reactive nano-crystalline layer between the bearing element and the adjacent part in the area of the contact surface and then initiating an exothermic reaction in the reactive nano-crystalline layer, so that the bearing element bonds to the adjacent part in a materially-connected manner. The exothermic reaction involves at least partially heating the surface area of the bearing element and/or of the adjacent part that is located in the area of the contact surface.

Each bearing includes a bearing outer ring having a cylindrical outer circumferential surface. The bearing support comprises at least first and second portions that are connected together. The first portion is formed as a component that has cylindrical openings configured to receive or seat the respective bearing outer rings and to surround the entire circumference of the respective bearing outer ring. The second portion is formed as a support plate. A bearing assembly includes the bearing support with a bearing seated in each of the respective cylindrical openings.

Each bearing includes a bearing outer ring having a cylindrical outer circumferential surface. A support part includes a recess configured to hold the at least two bearings. At least one junction portion is defined in the support part adjacent portions of the cylindrical circumferential surfaces of the bearings that are not filled by the bearings when the bearings are inserted into the support part. The support part is connected with a cover part that axially abuts on the bearings. The cover part includes at least one support element, which extends into the junction portion between the bearings in the assembled state of the bearing support and at least partially fills the junction portion.

A plurality of ship-hull-shaped or droplet-t-shaped macroscopic recesses is formed in the surface for retaining a lubricant therein. The recesses have at least one of a width and a depth in the circumferential direction of the roller body that diminishes towards at least one end in the circumferential direction. A first group of the recess diminishes in a direction substantially towards one of the ends and a second group of the recess diminishes in a direction towards the other end.

摘要: A roller bearing cage comprises first and second annular elements, each having at least three radially-extending bulges or indentations spaced around a circumferential direction of the annular elements. An axially-facing surface of each bulge or indentation serves as a guide surface for one axial end of a roller body. A plurality of bridge elements are bonded to and connect the first and second annular elements. Each bridge element is disposed between two adjacent bulges or indentations on a radial side of the annular elements that is opposite of the extension direction of the radially-extending bulges or indentations. The bridge elements are configured to support rolling surfaces of respective roller bodies such that a pocket for a roller body is defined between each two adjacent bridge elements and each two axially-opposing, radially-extending bulges or indentations.
