摘要: A motorcycle engine includes a crankcase housing a crankshaft, and a transmission unit therein, a cylinder block disposed above the crankcase, a cylinder head disposed above the cylinder block, and an intake system arranged behind the cylinder head, and a knock sensor arranged on an upper surface of the crankcase. The knock sensor is arranged behind the cylinder head, and disposed between the intake system and the cylinder block, such that the knock sensor does not restrict arrangement of additional functional parts of the engine on an upper surface of the crankcase. The knock sensor is substantially surrounded and protected by the intake system, the cylinder head, the cylinder block and the crankcase.

摘要: A multi-cylinder internal combustion engine includes a one-side crank chamber and an other-side crank chamber formed by partitioning a lower crankcase by a plurality of lower support walls which are provided integrally with the lower crankcase and support a crankshaft. A plurality of oil outflow holes respectively communicate with the one-side crank chamber and the other-side crank chamber through which oil is discharged from the one-side crank chamber and the other-side crank chamber. An oil discharge port is provided along a lower support wall of the one-side crank chamber and the other-side crank chamber. A suction port of a scavenging pump for discharging the oil present in the one-side crank chamber and the other-side crank chamber is provided in an outer wall in the manner of straddling the lower support wall.

摘要: The present invention includes an inflow quantity regulating means 5 for regulating the inflow quantity of a fuel gas to a compressor 1; a recycle valve 7 for returning the fuel gas discharged from the compressor 1 to the inlet side of the compressor 1; and a control means which sets a control operating value for operating the compressor 1 at a predetermined operation point, and controls the inflow quantity regulating means 5 and the recycle valve 7 based on the control operating value. The control means has a first control signal generating means 27 which generates a signal increasing with an increase in the operating value as a control signal for the inflow quantity regulating means 5 when the control operating value is a predetermined value or larger and a second control signal generating means 29 which generates a signal decreasing with an increase in the operating value as a control signal for the recycle valve 7 when the control operating value is smaller than the predetermined value. According to the present invention, high controllability can be obtained under all operating conditions including load shutdown.

摘要: An improved method of manufacturing a mesa type thyristor includes the formation, onto at least one face of a semiconductor substrate of a prescribed conductivity type of a ring or rings, of a deeply diffused region of the same conductivity type or that of the substrate but of a higher impurity concentration. As a result, the ring or rings of the deeply diffused region, surrounding the essential part of the thyristor, are, subsequent to the process of mesa-etching, exposed along the peripheral surface linking both faces of the substrate. The high-doped ring serves to effectively prevent an undesirable inducing of an inversion layer (i.e. channel region) across both surfaces of the substrate.

摘要: An information processing method provided, wherein an identifier (ID) corresponding to an object is obtained based on information input from a sensor for detecting the object, and the obtained ID is continuously and repeatedly input to an information processing unit. The information processing unit compares a program that is set based on a newly-input ID with a program that is set based on an already-input ID, and ends the currently-executed program when the two programs are different from each other. In this method, by putting an object in a sensor effective area, a program corresponding to the ID of the object is started, and by removing the object from the sensor effective area, the program is ended.
