摘要： Fusers, printing apparatuses and methods of fusing toner on media are disclosed. An embodiment of a fuser for heating media includes a fuser roll including an outer portion having a first outer surface; a voltage source connected to the outer portion and adapted to supply voltage to the outer portion to heat the first outer surface; a pressure roll having a second outer surface; and a nip between the first and second outer surfaces. The first and second outer surfaces are adapted to contact a medium at the nip.

摘要： Polystyrene baler for extreme compaction of expanded polystyrene or other similar materials where a ram forcibly acts to compress the expanded polystyrene material into a narrowing chamber where the narrowing chamber walls further act to compress the expanded polystyrene material to allow for air or gases trapped in the polystyrene material to escape so that a densely packed polystyrene bale is formed. A continuous bale is formed which can be broken or cut into desired lengths or weights. Vertically aligned walls of the bale chamber can be hydraulically actuated to accommodate the degree of compaction desired.

摘要： A laminated treadmill deck insert includes a wear surface formed of a phenolic impregnated paper laminated to an isocyanate resin bonded MDF insert core less than about 5/16 inch thick. A low moisture content isocyanate resin bonded wood fiber MDF core enables dimensional stability and high internal bonding strength even at reduced insert thicknesses. The deck insert is disposed on a support deck adjacent the upper run of an endless treadmill belt. The insert is provided with wear surfaces on each broad side and is easily removable and reversible to expose the second wear surface.

摘要： Tracheal tubes having an integrated calorimetric CO2 indicator are provided. In certain embodiment, the integrated CO2 indicator is selectively sealed from the remainder of the tracheal tube by a removable sterilization barrier. Also provided are CO2 indicators that exhibit long lasting, breath-to-breath dynamic color change and are storage stable. The devices and compositions of the invention find use in a variety of applications, e.g. in emergent intubation of a subject. Also provided are methods of making the devices and compositions, as well as kits that include the devices and/or compositions of the invention.

摘要： Fine conductor lines (those having a width of ≦50 μM) are disposed on a flexible metal oxide containing substrate by masking portions of the substrate, and then surface metallizing unmasked portions of the substrate. Polymeric preceramic films are preferred, especially those having a glass temperature of at least 300° C. and those of the PZT family, or those containing BeO. All suitable reducing gasses are contemplated, including especially H2. All suitable masking materials are similarly contemplated, including especially titanium, titanium nitride, tungsten nitride, tantalum, and tantalum nitride. In especially preferred embodiments the conductor lines have a width of ≦25 μM, ≦15 μM, ≦5 μM, and even ≦1 μM. The lines can advantageously compose a circuit that is coupled to a piezoelectric or other mechanical actuator, which in turn can be fluidly coupled to a fluid reservoir.
