摘要: A method for manufacturing a motorcycle tire includes forming a cylindrical raw tire body including a carcass body including a carcass ply and bead cores on the carcass ply, and forming a cylindrical belt ply wound in a cylindrical shape. The forming of the belt ply includes filling the tire body to expand to first expanded phase, winding a sheet-type belt ply by extending the sheet-type belt ply on bell rings to form the cylindrical belt ply with inner surface bonded to the apex of the tire body, filling the tire body to expand the apex of the tire body along with the belt ply to second expanded phase, increasing diameter of an expandable profile deck to expand the apex of the tire body along with the belt ply to third expanded phase, and winding down edges of the belt ply to bond the belt ply to the tire body.

摘要: A pneumatic tire comprises a mesh reinforcing layer formed from a tape wound circumferentially of the tire plural turns while repeating a zigzag unit comprising two inclined portion so that a number N of the repeated zigzag units are arranged while shifting in the tire circumferential direction and partly overlapping with each other. The amount of positional shift between the circumferentially adjacent zigzag units is in a range from 0.7 to 1.3 times a value of 360/N in terms of the angle α around the tire rotational axis.

The average cord angle θn and average cord count Nn of the belt layer are constant or gradually increases or decreases from a center position to shoulder positions. The ratio θns/θnc of the average cord angle θns at the shoulder positions to the average cord angle θnc at the center position is 1.30 or less. The ratio Nns/Nnc of the average cord count Nns at the shoulder positions to the average cord count Nnc in the center position is 0.77 or more.

摘要: A pneumatic tire includes bead portions, each having a bead bottom surface. The bead bottom surface includes a toe-side portion extending axially outwardly from a bead toe at an angle α in a range of from 17 to 24 degrees with respect to the tire axial direction, a heel-side portion positioned axially outside the toe-side portion and extending axially outwardly at an angle β in a range of from 3 to 7 degrees with respect to the tire axial direction, and a heel-side arc portion smoothly connecting between the heel-side portion and a flange contacting surface with a radius of curvature (R) in a range of from 1.5 to 3.5 mm.
