摘要: A grooved roller having a multiplicity of guide grooves running parallel to one another and in encircling fashion over the circumference of said grooved roller and serve for guiding strength members of flattened cross section before they enter a roller calender, which strength members have, in cross section, a first diameter and, perpendicular thereto, a second diameter, the second diameter is smaller than the first diameter, and the two diameters are each determined at the points with the greatest widths. The guide grooves each have a U-shaped cross section with a groove base extending parallel to the roller axis and with two groove walls extending perpendicularly to the roller axis. The groove base has a width which at least corresponds to, and is up to 5% greater than, the first diameter of the strength member, and the groove walls have a height which is 50% to 90% of the second diameter of the strength member.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a motorcycle tire includes forming a cylindrical raw tire body including a carcass body including a carcass ply and bead cores on the carcass ply, and forming a cylindrical belt ply wound in a cylindrical shape. The forming of the belt ply includes filling the tire body to expand to first expanded phase, winding a sheet-type belt ply by extending the sheet-type belt ply on bell rings to form the cylindrical belt ply with inner surface bonded to the apex of the tire body, filling the tire body to expand the apex of the tire body along with the belt ply to second expanded phase, increasing diameter of an expandable profile deck to expand the apex of the tire body along with the belt ply to third expanded phase, and winding down edges of the belt ply to bond the belt ply to the tire body.

摘要: An anchoring method of anchoring an anchoring element in a construction object is provided, where a surface of which object has at least one of pores in a surface, structures in a surface (such as an arrangement of ridges with undercut), a inhomogeneous characteristic with makes the penetration of a surface by a liquid under pressure possible, thereby creating pores filed by the liquid underneath the surface, and of a cavity. The method includes the steps of: providing a first element and a second element, the first element comprising a thermoplastic material; positioning the first element in a vicinity of said surface and/or of said cavity, respectively, and positioning the second element in contact with the first element; and causing a third element to vibrate while loading the first element with a force, thereby applying mechanical vibrations to the first element, and simultaneously loading the first element with a counter-force by the second element.

摘要: An array of resilient floor tiles is assembled into a continuous sheet after being laid down. An array of included, sacrificial resistive wires is buried along the edges of the tiles and is controllably heated in order to cause welding of the edges of tiles across the paths of the wires to neighboring tiles. Subsequently the wires may be used to give the array integral tensile strength. The welded array is provided with greater strength for resisting use, expansive and contractile forces caused by environmental heat and cold and also long-term tile contraction owing to loss of plasticizer as may be seen with PVC-based tiles.

The thermoplastic may include post-consumer recycled poly(ethylene terephthalate), and the coating may be an injection molded coating. A first layer of the coating may be provided with a thickness at least about 0.1 mm and a crystallinity between about 16% and about 30%, and a second layer of the coating may be provided with a thickness at least about 0.1 mm and a crystallinity between about 6% and about 14%. Either the first layer or second layer may contact the elongate metal member.

摘要: In order that spaces, including a space in the central portion, inside a steel cord used as a reinforcement by being embedded in a tire or the like are filled with an uncured rubber, the uncured rubber is coated on plural steel core filaments which are then stranded to form a single layer steel cord, the core then being stranded with uncoated outer layer filaments. Consequently, it is possible to exhibit satisfactory corrosion resistance and satisfactory fatigue resistance as a steel cord, shorten a curing time in tire component assembling or the like to attain energy saving and prolong the life of a steel cord itself and the life of a tire or the like using the same as a reinforcement. Further, production can be performed at low cost.
