摘要: The present invention features a remote touchpad device for a vehicle, which preferably comprises a circuit board having luminous elements installed at predetermined intervals along the circumference of a circle to irradiate light and at least one light-receiving element to receive the light the luminous elements, a pad provided on an upper part of the circuit board to make the light from the luminous elements reflected by an approaching or contact object and incident to the light-receiving element, a controller controlling a user interface by calculating the position of the object with 3D coordinates based on the amount of light incident to the light-receiving element, and a housing forming the exterior of the circuit board, the pad, and the controller. The invention also features a method of controlling the remote touchpad device.

摘要: The present invention relates to a haptic scroll wheel switch for a vehicle which includes a haptic wheel holder, a haptic wheel, a motor, and an encoder slit. The haptic wheel is rotatably installed in the haptic wheel holder and has a bevel gear unit formed on its one side. The motor is installed in the haptic wheel holder and has a driving shaft and an encoder slit installed on its both ends. More specifically, the driving shaft and the encoder slit are rotated and driven while operating in conjunction with the motor. Furthermore, a pinion gear is fixed to the driving shaft of the motor and geared with the bevel gear of the haptic wheel so that the pinion gear is operated in conjunction with the bevel gear, and a printed circuit board is used in conjunction with a sensor for detecting a rotation of the encoder slit.

摘要: This invention pertains to a system for providing a handling interface. More specifically, a display module for displaying the contents as images, and a control module for displaying a handling interface having a shape corresponding to a handling device is shown on the display module when an access signal is received from the handling device. The control module is also configured to perform a function displayed on the handling interface according to a signal from the handling device. In particular, the access signal represents the access of user's hand or a handling tool to the handling device, thereby allowing to user to more conveniently handle contents provided from a multimedia device in an automobile.

According to the user interface device, it is possible to manipulate a multimedia system by a three-dimensional interaction using a remote touchpad unit to improve the utility. Accordingly, the danger of accident and the driver's loading can be suitably reduced.
