摘要： A method and apparatus for a micro Base Station (BS) to provide a terminal with communication service in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes forwarding, in the micro BS, an attach request message received from the terminal to a local Mobility Management Entity (MME), determining, at the local MME, whether the terminal has performed at least one of authentication and registration processes, transmitting, at the MME, to a local registration processor a service provision check request message asking for whether the terminal is registered with the communication service to a local registration processor, and providing the terminal with the communication service in response to a service provision check acknowledge message accepting the attach request which is received from the local registration processor and no communication service in response to the service provision check acknowledge message rejecting the attach request which is received from the local registration processor.

摘要： The present relates to a method for providing a terminal with a service in a mobile communication system which includes transmitting to mobility management entity an attach request message for initiating registration of the terminal having a virtual IP address with the mobile communication system; registering, at the mobility management entity, location of the terminal with a home subscriber server; and completing the registration by transmitting an attach accept message from the mobility management entity to the terminal. The present invention is capable of registering a terminal with a mobile communication system initially without bearer path and IP address allocation and, when a packet address to the terminal occurs, allocating the radio resource, bearer resource, and IP address through paging procedure, thereby proving the UE with the service.

The method of the present invention comprises: an information receiving step of receiving, from an information provider, information to be transmitted to the terminal; a selection step of selecting either a cell broadcasting service multicast transmission scheme or a multimedia broadcast multicast service multicast transmission scheme in accordance with the size of the received information; and a multicast transmission step of multicast transmitting the information to the terminal of the specific group in accordance with the selected transmission scheme.

The method comprises: a service registration step in which the controller registers a service to transmit information provided by the content provider to the terminal, and allocates an identification to a terminal group which will receive the information; a terminal registration step in which the content provider registers the terminal group to the controller; a terminal state checking step in which the controller receives a report on the operating states of the terminals of the registered terminal group; a terminal classifying step in which the controller classifies the terminals on the basis of the operating states of the terminals; and a terminal state reporting step in which the content provider receives a report on the state of the terminal.
