    摘要: In a fingerprint data registering method, a blurred pseudo image is displayed and, when a fingerprint image for authentication registration is acquired, a fingerprint position of the acquired fingerprint image is extracted. A position in the pseudo image, which corresponds to the extracted fingerprint position, is determined. A part of the blurred pseudo image at the determined corresponding position is converted to a clear partial pseudo-image having a higher resolution than that of the blurred pseudo image and the clear partial pseudo-image is displayed. The acquired fingerprint image is registered as an authentication-purpose fingerprint image in association with the converting and outputting process.

The method includes a first step of acquiring measurement data for a part of a fingerprint, a second step of calculating a matching rate by comparing the measurement data with at least one of a plurality of registration data, a third step of determining whether the matching rate is equal to or greater than a threshold and whether the measurement data has been previously processed for an authentication, a fourth step of calculating a security level accumulation value based on a result of the third step, and a fifth step of determining whether the security level accumulation value is equal to or greater than a threshold. If NO in the fifth step, processes of the first to fifth steps are repeated. If YES in the fifth step, a success of the authentication is determined and outputted.

    摘要: A method for acquiring a fingerprint image through a fingerprint image acquisition apparatus is provided. The method includes recognizing a finger of an user through a sensor included in the apparatus to generate an initial input fingerprint image when the finger contacts with a biometric recognition area of the display unit, acquiring a converted fingerprint image by converting the initial input fingerprint image in a pre-determined manner to reveal a characteristic of a pattern, included within the initial input fingerprint image, corresponding to a pattern signal reflected from at least a part of the display unit. The method further includes selecting a pattern removal fingerprint image, if a learned pattern image is stored in a memory, from the learned pattern image based on similarity. The similarity is calculated between the converted fingerprint image and a converted reference image.
