摘要: A treat ball includes a transparent chamber for holding treats and end caps on the transparent chamber. At least one of the end caps includes one or more lobes, which causes the treat ball to roll in a non-uniform manner. Additionally, at least one of the end caps includes an opening into the chamber, and an adjustable mechanism configured to fully close the opening and to reveal the opening to varying degrees.

摘要: The present invention relates generally to hats, and more specifically to multi-function hats that provide the wearer with an enhanced sporting or fashion experience. The present invention pertains to an article of headwear with an integrated incision for maintaining and holding a portion of the wearer's hair outside the hat. This function is not only a fashion benefit but also is a safety function in that it keeps the wearer's hair away from the wearer's eyes by pulling the hair away from the wearer's face to the back of the head. The integrated incision also enables the article of headwear to stay on the wearer's head.

摘要: A female urethral catheterization assist device and method of use. The female urethral catheterization assist device includes a pair of lateral arms pivotally connected at a middle point that enables a user to selectively open and close the lateral arms. A handle is positioned at one end of each lateral arm and a paddle is disposed at an opposing end. The paddles extend in the same direction and form an interior lateral side. Each paddle is adapted to engage with a labia minora and majora, to allow for the insertion of a female urethral catheter.

摘要: The present invention relates to a charged particle beam generator comprising multiple charged particle beam generator units. In particular, the present invention is concerned with apparatus for generating a high-energy, high-current proton beam such as are used in accelerator driven subcritical reactors. The present invention provides a method of generating a composite proton beam using a proton beam generator comprising multiple proton beam generator units. A negative hydrogen ion source is used to generate a beam of negative hydrogen ions in each unit. The negative hydrogen ions are stripped to create a proton beam in each unit, that is accelerated beam and guided to a common point where the beams are merged to form the composite proton beam.

摘要: A fuel composition containing a major amount of a fuel suitable for use in a compression-ignition engine is disclosed. The fuel contains one or more hydrocarbon components boiling within the diesel boiling range, at least one of which hydrocarbon components has been treated with a metal adsorbing or absorbing material in a different physical phase from the hydrocarbon component(s), preferably to reduce the level of at least one metal, more preferably the level of at least one heavier metal, most preferably the level of zinc, in said at least one hydrocarbon component. The emission of NOx, and optionally particulates, is reduced from the exhaust of a compression-ignition engine when such fuel composition is introduced into the combustion chambers. The treatment includes physical separation of the hydrocarbon component from the metal adsorbing or absorbing phase.

摘要: The treatment of the external surfaces of condenser tubes, such as those used in power station condenser plants, with certain inorganic chemical compounds renders those surfaces or parts thereof sufficiently water-repellent so as to prevent the formation thereon, during operation of the condenser, of condensate films. Instead of continuous condensate films forming on the treated condenser tube surfaces during operation of the condenser, condensation is formed as discrete droplets of water which run down and drip off the tubes with the result that the condenser plant can work at higher levels of efficiency. Suitable chemical substances for use in the treatment of condenser tube surfaces include Cr VI anions, Cr.sup.3+ ions, and alkali metal tungstates, vanadates and molybdates.
