摘要: A connector comprises a socket adapted to be mounted in a potable radiotelephone having an internal power supply and a plug having a power code for supplying electric power from an external power supply to the radiotelephone. The socket has a pair of input terminals, movable and stationary terminals. The movable terminal is formed with a pair of torsion members each of which has a contact. The contacts are urged to the stationary terminal to make a first electrical connection therebetween for allowing a first operation of the radiotelephone with the use of the internal power supply. For preventing an accidental breakage of the first electrical connection which is caused by dust or pieces of thread put between the movable and stationary terminals, a contact-point between one of the contacts and the stationary terminal is displaced from that between the other contact and the stationary terminal in an inserting direction of the plug into the socket. When the plug is connected to the socket, output terminals of the plug are connected to the input terminals to make a second electrical connection therebetween for allowing a second operation of the radiotelephone with the use of the external power supply, and at the same time the first electrical connection can be broken. As a result, it is possible to switch the first operation of the radiotelephone to the second operation thereof by connecting the plug to the socket.

摘要: An input clock dividing unit frequency-divides an input clock, and an input clock multiplying unit frequency-multiplies the input clock. An operation clock selecting unit selects the frequency-divided clock when the input clock is fast and selects the frequency-multiplied clock when the input clock is slow, based on the frequency detection result of frequency detecting unit. The operation clock selecting unit then outputs the selected clock to a phase comparing unit as an operation clock. The phase comparing unit operates according to the frequency-divided or frequency-multiplied clock, and controls an oscillating unit so that the phase difference between a reference signal and a comparison signal becomes zero. The phase of an output clock is thus caused to track the phase of the reference signal.

摘要: An input processing circuit decodes a digital video signal selected by an input signal selector. Decryption circuits each decrypt the encryption of a video signal output from the input processing circuit, and generate an authentication key of the encryption. A video signal selector selects and outputs one of the video signals output from the decryption circuits, to a monitor. The decryption circuits each include a pseudo-signal generation circuit which extracts information from the video signal, and based on the extracted information, generates a pseudo-video signal.

摘要: In an audio and video transmission apparatus, a frequency division parameter control unit outputs a frequency division parameter Pt, Qt for relating a pixel clock (frequency: pclk) for video data with an audio clock (frequency: ft) for audio data. An audio/video/packet multiplexing unit converts audio data and the frequency division parameter Pt, Qt into packets, and superimposes the packets into blanking intervals of video data, thereby producing transmission data. The frequency division parameter Pt, Qt satisfies a relationship represented by: pclk/Pt=ft/Qt=fpt, and cause fpt to have a value that falls outside of a predetermined band that is determined as the band of audio data.
