    Abstract: A mobile device, via a roaming platform, can switch IMSIs (e.g., Home IMSI-1, Roamer IMSI-2, etc.) depending on a location of the mobile device. Upon switching IMSIs, the roaming platform can forward the update location to an HLR of the home network and roaming network. If the MMSC on the home network receives an MMS message, the MMSC on the home network may query the HLR for a current location. From the query, if the message recipient is roaming, the MMSC on the home network may communicate with the MMSC on the roaming network to deliver the message. As a result, the roaming network can handle the routing of the message without a data session routed back through the home network.

    Abstract: Automated unavailability response for call handling is used to notify an incoming caller that a subscriber is unavailable to answer the incoming call. An incoming call that is initiated from an originating caller device is received at a network server for routing to a terminating user device of a specific subscriber. A user profile of the specific subscriber that includes one or more unavailability notification settings for the incoming call is retrieved from a user profile database. An unavailability notification message is selected from a data store based at least on the one or more unavailable notification settings. The unavailability notification message is sent from the network server to the originating caller device.

    Abstract: The disclosed technology includes a voicemail translation service of a telecommunications network. The voicemail translation service can receive a voicemail message communicated from a calling party to a called party. The voicemail translation service calls an application programming interface (API) to upload the voicemail message to a transcription service, which completes transcription of the voicemail message in a default language. In response to determining that the default language of the completed transcription does not match a target language of the called party, the voicemail translation service triggers another API to generate a translation of the transcription in accordance with the target language. The voicemail translation service then stores the translated transcription in a voicemail storage system that is accessible by the called party.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for storing and/or retaining message object data for subscribers of a wireless network. The systems and methods introduce a storage architecture that retains message objects in both hot storage (or local storage) and cold storage (remote or archive storage), to comply with the OMA and/or GSMA standards. After certain events associated with the message objects occur, such as an expiration of a time-to-live (TTL) parameter for the message objects, the systems and methods purge or remove message objects from the local storage, but maintain the message objects in the remote storage location.
