Abstract: A common mode choke coil according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a first coil conductor, a second coil conductor, and a third coil conductor. In the embodiment, the second coil conductor has a different shape than the first coil conductor and the third coil conductor. Abstract: One object is to reduce, in a common mode choke coil having three coil conductors, a deviation in stray capacities generated between the coil conductors. A common mode choke coil according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a first coil conductor, a second coil conductor, and a third coil conductor. In said embodiment, the first coil conductor, the second coil conductor, and the third coil conductor extend parallel with each other in a first region in plan view as seen from an axial direction along the coil axis. In said embodiment, in the first region, when seen in a cross section cut along a plane including the coil axis, in an n-th turn, an arranging order of the first coil conductor, the second coil conductor, and the third coil conductor from an inner side in a radial direction thereof is inverted from that in an n+1th turn.

Abstract: A coil component comprises a coil conductor including a circling portion extending around a coil axis, a base body covering the circling portion, a first external electrode, and a second external electrode. The base body has a first surface intersecting the coil axis, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and an outer surface including a connecting surface connecting the first surface with the second surface. The outer surface of the base body includes a main body portion and at least one high resistance portion. The high resistance portion occupies an area of the connecting surface between the first external electrode and the second external electrode, other than the part occupied by the main body portion. The area extends along an entire length of a circumference of the base body around the coil axis. The high resistance portion has a higher volume resistivity than the main body portion.

Abstract: A coil component according to one or more embodiments of the invention includes a base body containing a plurality of metal magnetic particles, a coil conductor, and an external electrode. In one or more embodiments, the coil conductor has a coil portion disposed inside the base body, and an end surface exposed from a first surface of the base body. The coil conductor is configured such that the ratio of the dimension of a section of the coil portion in a short axis direction to the dimension of the end surface in a short axis direction is 0.5 to 0.95, the section of the coil portion is orthogonal to the direction in which current flows through the coil portion. In one or more embodiments, the external electrode is provided on the first surface such that it is connected to the end surface of the lead-out portion.

The magnetic core is made of a ferrite material.
