Abstract: A coil component has a magnetic body of rectangular solid shape, a coil with N turns (N is a positive number of 2 or greater) provided inside the magnetic body, an insulating intermediate part, and external electrodes. The coil has a first conductor layer, a second conductor layer, and an inter-layer connection part. The first conductor layer has a first multiple winding part which is wound around one axis with a first spacing. The second conductor layer has a second multiple winding part which is wound around the one axis with the first spacing and faces the first conductor layer. The insulating intermediate part is provided inside the magnetic body and forms, between the first conductor layer and second conductor layer, a second spacing corresponding to a thickness equal to or less than the product of the first spacing and (N−1).

Abstract: An inductor includes a magnetic base body including soft magnetic metal particles containing iron, first and second external electrodes provided on the magnetic base body, and an internal conductor provided in the magnetic base body, with one end thereof electrically connected to the first external electrode and the other end thereof electrically connected to the second external electrode, the internal conductor extending linearly from the first external electrode to the second external electrode in plan view. The magnetic base body is configured so that a peak intensity ratio is 2 or more between a peak intensity of a first peak and a peak intensity of a second peak in a Raman spectrum obtained by using an excitation laser with a wavelength of 488 nm. The first peak is around a wave number of 712 cm−1, and the second peak is around a wave number of 1320 cm−1.

Abstract: A soft magnetic alloy powder contains Fe, Si, and at least one of Cr and Al, as constituent elements, wherein, on the surface of each grain constituting the alloy powder, an oxide film is provided which is such that: it contains Si, as well as at least one of Cr and Al, as constituent elements; these elements are contained at higher percentages by mass than those in the alloy part inside the grain; and the content of Si, expressed in percentage by mass, is higher than the total content of Cr and Al. The soft magnetic metal powder can achieve a higher filling rate.

Abstract: A magnetic material includes a soft magnetic metal grain containing Fe, and a multilayer oxide film covering the surfaces of the soft magnetic metal grain. The multilayer oxide film has a first oxide layer of crystalline nature containing Fe, and a second oxide layer of amorphous nature containing Si. In an embodiment, the silicon oxide film of amorphous nature is formed by dripping, divided into multiple sessions, a treatment solution containing TEOS (tetraethoxy silane), ethanol, and water into a mixed solution containing the soft magnetic metal grain, ethanol, and ammonia water, to mix the solutions.

Abstract: One object is to provide a laminated inductor having a reduced thickness without reduction in the magnetic characteristic and the insulation quality. The laminated inductor includes a first magnetic layer, an internal conductor, second magnetic layers, third magnetic layers, and a pair of external electrodes. The first magnetic layer includes three or more magnetic alloy particles arranged in the thickness direction and an oxide film binding the magnetic alloy particles together and containing Cr. The three or more magnetic alloy particles have an average particle diameter of 4 μm or smaller. The internal conductor includes a plurality of conductive patterned portions electrically connected to each other via the first magnetic layer. The second magnetic layers are composed of magnetic alloy particles and disposed around the conductive patterned portions. The third magnetic layers are composed of magnetic alloy particles and disposed so as to be opposed to each other in thickness direction.
