Abstract: A display apparatus and a mobile terminal are provided. The display apparatus includes a display panel, N2 data drives, and a timing controller. Video data can be transmitted to a plurality of input video interfaces corresponding to the data drives in a time-sharing manner using one output video interface of the timing controller. Therefore, a timing controller with relatively low resolution can be matched with a display panel with relatively high resolution, thereby reducing overall costs of the display apparatus.

Abstract: An electrostatic ignition protection method of a source driver of a display device and a display device are provided. When a time controller detects that a source driver has static electricity, the time controller controls the source driver not to output a driving signal for a preset duration and the preset duration is greater than an ignition threshold duration. This prevents the source driver having static electricity from accumulating enough heat in a short time to burn and fire.

Abstract: A display device and a controlling method thereof are provided. The display device includes a display panel, a backlight unit, and a time schedule controller. The display panel is configured to display images. Areas where afterimages of dynamic images occur are identified according to comparison results of dither values. Tailing phenomenon of the dynamic images may be relieved by transmitting backlight data without brightness to a second backlight sub-area corresponding to where the afterimages occur. Furthermore, because frequency multiplication is not applied, risks of display instability will not increase.

The display sub-pixel includes first sub-pixels, second sub-pixels and third sub-pixels. If the grayscale information of the two adjacent first sub-pixels are the same, then a driving signal of the virtual sub-pixel is the same as a driving signal of a third sub-pixel close to the virtual sub-pixel; otherwise, the driving signal of the virtual sub-pixel is the same as a driving signal of the third sub-pixels, which are outnumbered in the histogram.

Abstract: A timing controller is provided. A data enable signal in a timing control module is regenerated by a signal regenerating module. A number of vertical valid display rows is regenerated as a vertical valid display period. A total charge time of all rows of pixels in each frame can be increased effectively. Abstract: A method of V-By-One (VBO) signal processing for saving hardware resources, and a device and terminal thereof are provided.
