    Abstract: In one aspect, a first device determines transmitter location information indicating a location for each of one or more transmitters that provide synchronization signals. The first device inserts the transmitter location information in a time synchronization IE and transmits the time synchronization IE to a second device. The second device receives the transmitter location information from the first device and determines one or more propagation delays of a synchronization signal received from a transmitter based on the transmitter location information received for the transmitter in the IE. The second device uses the determined one or more propagation delays to compensate for a timing difference between the first device and a transmitter of the synchronization signal.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for control of measurements are disclosed. According to an embodiment, a terminal device obtains (202) information about at least one relaxed measurement criterion, RMC. The terminal device determines (204) whether first criteria associated with a first mode of operation, MO, or second criteria associated with a second MO are satisfied, based at least on the obtained information. Measurements under the first MO are less stringent than measurements under the second MO. At least one criterion in at least one of the first criteria and the second criteria is associated with a result of clear channel assessment, CCA, procedure in at least one cell. The terminal device uses (206) a result of the determination for performing one or more operational tasks.

In some embodiments, the selection is such that the selected adjacent subcarriers varies, e.g., from one cell to another. In doing so, interference is distributed.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for frequency hopping schemes that are compatible with joint channel estimation. In one embodiment, a method implemented in a User Equipment (UE) comprises determining a value of a hopping index for a first set of N consecutive slots, wherein the N is an integer greater than 1, and after the N consecutive slots, incrementing the value of the hopping index for a second set of N consecutive slots. The method further comprises, for an uplink slot within the second set of N consecutive slots, determining a set of physical resource blocks (PRBs) in which to transmit a physical channel from a set of frequency offsets according to the value of the hopping index for the second set of slots and transmitting the physical uplink channel in the selected set of PRBs in the uplink slot.
