A travelling wave tube for two operating conditions: continuous low-level operation and pulsed high-level operation. This travelling wave tube comprises a double electron-gun 1 and 2 and a double HF structure 5 and 6 with a transition 7. Across the double delay line thus constituted, there is coaxially injected a double electron-beam, one cylindrical the other tubular, this under conditions which satisfy the generation of the two aforesaid operating conditions. Tubes of this kind have a particulary significant application in countermeasure or transmission systems of multipurpose radars.

An electronic device wherein an interaction of an electron beam and a high frequency wave propagating through a delay line is achieved. The electron beam is made to strike substantially the whole length of said delay line simultaneously, which line upon this strike emits secondary electrons which are collected either by a grid parallel to the delay line or by the surface itself of said line. Such devices constituting either electronic amplifier or storage tubes.

High frequency circuits for the anodes of electron tubes, in particular magnetrons. There is associated with the usual cavities of said anodes a second high frequency circuit arranged in parallel with the first one constituted by said cavities, to provide coupling between adjacent cavities and to maintain their pi mode operation despite possible geometrical differences. Moreover, by making the second circuit an absorptive one, other unwanted modes are suppressed.
