摘要: A magnetron includes a yoke, an anode unit including an anode cylinder, radially arranged vanes, and first and second pole pieces at both sides of the anode cylinder, a cathode unit having a filament spaced apart from the vanes, and an output unit having an antenna lead connected to one vane to radiate high-frequency microwaves. The first pole piece includes a first flat portion, a slope at an inner side of the first flat portion, a second flat portion at an inner side of the slope and having a diameter of 9.5˜10.5 mm, a first hole formed in the second flat portion and having a diameter of 8˜8.2 mm, and a second hole formed in the slope for penetration of the antenna lead. The magnetron achieves higher and stabilized efficiency, restricted oscillation efficiency variation, lower energy consumption, and improved load stability without deterioration of oscillation efficiency.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to axial strapping of a multi-core (cascaded) magnetron. The multi-core (cascaded) magnetron includes a cathode and a plurality of cores (anodes) arranged in an axial direction along the cathode. Each of the cores may have a plurality of vanes arranged periodically in an azimuthal direction along a circumference of the cathode and forming by such a way a plurality of resonant cavities. The multi-core (cascaded) magnetron further includes groups of axial straps coupling each of the cores together in the axial direction along the cathode. For example, a first group of axial straps couple the first plurality of vanes of a first core to the second plurality of vanes of a second core. In an embodiment, the axial straps are configured to provide phase synchronization of electromagnetic oscillations induced inside each of the plurality of cores.

摘要: A magnetron has an anode cylinder, ten vanes, three strap rings. The ten vanes are fixed to an inner surface of the anode cylinder and arranged in a radial pattern of which center is at an axis of the anode cylinder. Each of the three strap rings connects vanes that are alternatively arranged. A first strap ring and a third strap ring are arranged on a first end of the vanes in a direction of axis, and a second strap ring is arranged on a second end that is opposite to the first end. Outer diameter of the second strap ring is equal to inner diameter of the first strap ring and outer diameter of the third strap ring is equal to inner diameter of the second strap ring.

摘要: The present invention provides a magnetron which can conduct more magnetic flux in the active space at the periphery of a cathode structure to thereby further improve the efficiency of a magnetic circuit. The magnetron of the present invention includes an anode cylinder on which inner wall a plurality of anode vanes are provided, a pole piece provided on an end side of the anode cylinder, a circular magnet provided on the vicinity of the pole piece, and a magnet ring provided between the anode cylinder and the circular magnet. An outer diameter of the magnet ring is smaller than or equal to the outer diameter of the circular magnet and larger than or equal to the outer diameter of the anode cylinder. The magnet ring has a portion on a surface of the pole piece side whose normal line is non-parallel to the central axis of the anode cylinder.

The connection plates are attached to second ends of the leads, respectively. The terminal rods are attached to the connection plates, respectively, to supply power to the leads through the connection plates, and have slender protrusions, which have sectional areas smaller than sectional areas of attachment portions of the terminal rods so that the terminal rods are attached to the connection plates with the slender protrusions passing through the connection plates.

摘要: In a magnetron anode, an anode surrounds a central cathode. The anode is of a segmented structure having a plurality of annular segments stacked together along its length. Each annular segment includes a strap, the strap being distributed substantially along the entire axial length of the anode vanes. This enables mode separation to be achieved, even for long anode lengths and, hence, permits high power operation to be achieved. In addition, the segmented structure of the anode gives a mechanically robust design.

摘要: An improved low power pulsed anode magnetron is provided having a cylindrical cathode centrally disposed within a plurality of radial anode vanes. An interaction region is provided between the surface of the cathode and the anode vane tips. A ratio of the anode-to-cathode space over the center-to-center distance between adjacent vane tips is within a range between 0.95 and 1.05. The cathode is joined to a magnetic polepiece assembly which channels magnetic flux to the interaction region. Both the cathode and the polepiece are mechanically adjustable from external to the magnetron to reposition the cathode and polepiece with respect to the anode vanes. The cathode surface is formed from an active nickel alloy which is cleaned by a chemical process followed by a high temperature and vacuum firing. An emissive surface is applied over the cleaned cathode surface. The output spectrum of the magnetron is calibrated by applying a sequential pulsed input of increasing amplitude, and adjusting the relative cathode-anode position until the frequency spectrum remains constant.
