    Abstract: Provided is a technology for suppressing variations in the waveform of a light emission pulse caused by various factors in a light-emitting device. A light-emitting device is provided with: a light source 101 in which relaxation oscillation occurs immediately after energization; a light source drive circuit 104 which includes a differentiation circuit 102 having a resistor and a capacitor connected in parallel, and in which a switching element 103 for voltage application is connected in series with the differentiation circuit; a power supply circuit 105; a light-reception element 107 which detects pulsed light emitted from the light source 101; and a voltage control unit 109 which controls an output voltage from the power supply circuit 105 in correspondence with the waveform of the detected pulsed light.

    Abstract: An eye-fatigue examining device and an eye-fatigue examining method capable of examining eye fatigue of a subject's eye regardless of an age of a patient are provided. The eye-fatigue examining device includes: a light quantity difference adjusting unit that increases a light quantity difference between lights respectively incident on right and left subject's eyes; a gaze direction detecting unit that detects gaze directions of the respective subject's eyes while the light quantity difference adjusting unit increases the light quantity difference; and a light quantity difference deciding unit that decides a specific light quantity difference at which a change in the gaze directions due to the increase in the light quantity difference occurs, based on the detection result of the gaze direction detecting unit.

    Abstract: Target point cloud data about a specific road are extracted from perimeter point cloud data acquired by moving a road surface measurement device along a measurement route and scanning the surroundings thereof. A data storage unit stores trajectory point sequence data that represent, as a plurality of trajectory points, the perimeter point cloud data and a trajectory of the movement of the road surface measurement device. A trajectory point sequence setting unit acquires a trajectory point sequence at equal intervals from the trajectory point sequence data. An extraction area setting unit sets, as extraction areas, a column area Ci and a parallelepiped area Hi that are geometric areas disposed at predetermined positions below a trajectory point Xi. An approximate nearest neighbor search processing unit and an extraction processing unit extract, as the target point cloud data, point data that belong to this extraction area of the perimeter point cloud data.
