    Abstract: A surveying instrument comprises a first measuring component having a control module and a second measuring component, wherein the control module acquires point cloud data of a whole circumference in a room with the use of the second measuring component in accordance with each installation point, makes the first measuring component to measure a predetermined position in the room, prepares outer shape data of a same height and a same shape in accordance with each installation point based on a measurement result of the first measuring component or the second measuring component, performs a shape matching of each outer shape data, and registers each point cloud data based on a movement amount and a rotation amount at the time of performing the shape matching.

    Abstract: A laser scanner comprises a distance measuring component for measuring a distance to a measuring point, a frame unit which horizontally rotates, a scanning mirror which scans a distance measuring light by rotating vertically, angle detecting components for detecting a horizontal angle of the frame unit and a vertical angle of the scanning mirror and an arithmetic control component, wherein the arithmetic control component sets a distance between measuring points adjacent in a radial direction as a first distance between measuring points, sets a distance between measuring points adjacent in a circumferential direction as a second distance between measuring points, calculates a first interval of measuring angles which becomes the first distance between measuring points and a second interval of measuring angles which becomes the second distance between measuring points at a measuring point and acquires point cloud data of a plane to be measured based on the first interval of measuring angles and the second interval of measuring angles.

    Abstract: A laser scanner which includes a mobile station calculates a two-dimensional fixed station coordinate system formed at least three fixed stations, calculates coordinates of intersections of at least three circles, which have the fixed stations as their centers and the distances between each of the fixed stations and the mobile station as their radii, at every predetermined angle as each positioning result of the mobile station while horizontally rotating the laser scanner by 360° around a mechanical point, averages each of the positioning results corresponding to 360° and calculates approximate mechanical point coordinates in the fixed station coordinate system.

    Abstract: The invention provides a laser scanner system, which comprises a laser scanner which includes a distance measuring unit for receiving a reflection light of a distance measuring light from an object to be measured and performing a distance measurement, a scanning unit for rotatably irradiating the distance measuring light, a directional angle detecting unit for detecting an irradiating direction of the distance measuring light, a GNSS device, and a control arithmetic unit, wherein the laser scanner is installed at two points, and wherein the control arithmetic unit obtains global coordinates of installation positions of the laser scanner from the GNSS device respectively, scans the distance measuring light over a total circumference at each of the installation positions, acquires point cloud data of the total circumference, performs a shape matching of the two point cloud data and combines the two point cloud data.
