Abstract: A pet hair removal apparatus has a plurality of engagement members. One of the engagement members is triangular in cross section that is attached to a generally parallelogram body of the apparatus. The apparatus operates in a plurality of different operational engagement position in which different engagement members contact the surface to remove pet hair from the surface depending on which operational engagement position the apparatus is positioned. The pet hair removal apparatus may be formed through a coextrusion process to form the resultant parallelogram shape of the pet hair removal apparatus using multiple different materials to form the engagement members and a body thereof.

Abstract: A pet scoop assembly and method of use. The assembly includes a scoop member; a receptacle detachably engageable with the scoop member; and a door disposed intermediate the two. A disposable bag may line the receptacle and be clamped in place between the receptacle and scoop member. The door opens inwardly into the receptacle. When the scoop assembly is turned into a vertical orientation, the door opens by gravity or by the weight of gathered pet waste sliding onto the door. A region of the scoop member adjacent the door is angled to allow pet waste to slide readily from the scoop member into the receptacle. In a variation, the scoop member is provided with a plurality of tines that enable pet waste to be removed from surfaces such as grass. An elongate handle is provided on this scoop to allow the user to stand upright during use.

Abstract: A pet treat toy in the shape of a dumbbell including a spherical or cylindrical body portion flanked by disc-shaped first and second enlarged members. The enlarged members are of a greater diameter than the body portion; consequently, the enlarged members keep the body portion a distance off the ground. Each enlarged member includes a concave surface with an outermost edge that contacts the ground if the toy is upended. An opening defined in one of the body portion and concave surface is in communication with the body portion's interior cavity. Treats loaded into the cavity through the opening are kept from contacting the ground because the opening is maintained a distance off the ground by the larger diameter enlarged members or because the opening is recessed relative to the outermost edge of the enlarged member's concave surface that defines the opening.
