摘要： An airbag includes: a bag main body: and regulating units configured to regulate an expansion completed shape of the bag main body. The bag main body has an expansion completed shape as a substantially square cylindrical shape, where a hollow portion which penetrates substantially along a left-right direction is provided and a circumference of the hollow portion is surrounded by an upper expansion portion and a lower expansion portion and a front expansion portion and a rear expansion portion. The regulating units are arranged at a plurality of horizontally symmetrical locations centered on a center of the bag main body on the left-right directional side and each of the regulating units is configured to straddle the hollow portion when viewed from a lateral side in the left-right direction and at least an upper edge side and a lower edge side are connected to the bag main body side.

摘要： A steering wheel airbag device includes an airbag and an inflator. The airbag includes: a bag body; and a rectifying member rectifies expansion gas discharged from the inflator. The rectifying member is provided with three gas outlet ports so that the expansion gas can flow out substantially along a ring surface of the ring portion and to left, right, and rear three sides. The rectifying member is configured by partially joining outer peripheral edges of a vehicle body side panel and a driver side panel. The vehicle body side panel is configured to have three joining portions which are joined to corresponding outer peripheral edges of the driver side panel and three non-joining regions between the joining portions arranged on an outer peripheral edge side of the flat surface portion. The gas outlet port is configured by a portion of the non-joining region between the joining portions.

摘要： An airbag includes a plurality of base materials made of a sheet body. The base materials include: an occupant side panel; a vehicle body side panel; a front side panel; and a rear side panel. Corresponding edge portions of the occupant side panel, the vehicle body side panel, the front side panel and the rear side panel are configured to be joined to each other by a planar joining operation. Outer peripheral edges of the front side panel and the rear side panel are joined to corresponding edge portions of the vehicle body side panel and the occupant side panel, respectively. The front side panel and the rear side panel are separated from each other on a front-rear direction side, when the inflation is completed, by joining corresponding left and right edges of the vehicle body side panel and the occupant side panel to each other.

摘要： An occupant protection device includes: an airbag including an upper inflating portion and a lower inflating portion, and a rear inflating portion having a restraint surface that receives the occupant, the airbag being provided with a hollow portion penetrating in a left-right direction in a center; and a protrusion length adjustment unit configured to adjust a protrusion length from an accommodation position to the restraint surface in the airbag. An exhaust port configured to exhaust the inflation gas is disposed on an inner peripheral surface side in the vicinity of an intersection portion between the upper inflation portion and the lower inflation portion of the airbag. When the protrusion length by the protrusion length adjustment unit is adjusted to be long, the upper inflation portion and the lower inflation portion approach each other, so that an edge member approaches the exhaust port, thereby reducing an exhaust amount.

摘要： An airbag device includes an airbag having an exhaust hole and a flap member that can close off the exhaust hole. The flap member includes a flap main body and a coupling member. The leading end of the coupling member is coupled with an opening/closing control device. The flap main body closes off the exhaust hole from an inner peripheral face side of the airbag. A width on the base portion side is set to be greater than a width of the exhaust hole. Whole of the base portion side is joined to the peripheral edge of the exhaust hole in the airbag. The flap main body covers the exhaust hole in a region between straight lines that connect one end each of a joint region on the base portion and a region on the leading end to which the coupling member is caused to be coupled.

摘要： An airbag apparatus is configured to be used for a vehicle seat including an accommodation portion. The airbag apparatus includes an airbag. The airbag is configured such that a portion of the airbag ejected from the accommodation portion to the position beside the headrest is deployed and inflated in a position rearward of the seat back, and is inflated and deployed away from the accommodation portion in the width direction in a position rearward of the headrest, and that another portion of the airbag ejected from the accommodation portion to the position beside the headrest is deployed and inflated in a position forward of the seat back, and is deployed and inflated in a position forward of a head of an occupant seated in the vehicle seat and away from the accommodation portion in the width direction, so as to wrap around the head.

摘要： An airbag device includes an airbag, a blocking member that can adjust an exhaust hole of the airbag to a blocked state and an opened state, a coupling member, and a holding and releasing unit, which maintains a state of blocking the exhaust hole by holding the coupling member. When the holding and releasing unit releases the holding of the coupling member, the blocking member inverts in such a way as to be fed out from an inner peripheral face side of the airbag to an outer peripheral face side through the exhaust hole owing to being pressed by inflating gas, and causes inflating gas to be discharged from a through hole formed between leading end regions of outer peripheral edges of a first panel portion and a second panel portion in the blocking member and a communication hole communicating with the exhaust hole.
