摘要: A vehicle control device has a processor configured to generate a first traveling lane plan representing the traveling lane in which the vehicle is traveling within a first driving zone of a navigation route, to generate a first lane change plan representing movement of the vehicle between lanes, based on the first traveling lane plan or on surrounding environment information and, when the first lane change plan has been generated, to determine whether or not there exists a control transfer request zone at less than a first reference distance from the location of the vehicle on the post-movement traffic lane, or a lane change schedule zone at less than a second reference distance, and the first lane change plan is cancelled when such a control transfer request zone or lane change schedule zone exists.

摘要: A coating device is equipped with a rotary head, a drive unit, and an electric power supply unit. The rotary head is configured to be supplied with a coating material. The rotary head includes a diffusion surface that is configured such that the coating material is diffused toward an outer edge portion of the diffusion surface by a centrifugal force, and a plurality of groove portions that are included in the outer edge portion. The rotary head is configured to discharge a threadlike coating material from the groove portions. Also, the coating device is configured such that a diameter of the threadlike coating material is set equal to or larger than 0.03 mm and equal to or smaller than 0.1 mm and that the threadlike coating material is electrostatically atomized.

摘要: A vehicle controller determines whether the position of a detected travel lane relative to an edge of a road being traveled by a vehicle may differ from an actual position; estimates a first required time for an action, which is required before the vehicle reaches a predetermined location, for the case that the position of the detected lane relative to the edge of the road is correct; estimates a second required time for the action for the case that the position of the detected lane differs from the actual position by a predetermined number of lanes; and sets start timing of the action, based on the second required time, so that the action will finish before the vehicle reaches the predetermined location, when the position of the detected lane may differ from the actual position and the second required time is longer than the first required time.

摘要: A vehicle controller detects a travel lane on which a vehicle is traveling, and determines whether the position of the detected travel lane relative to an edge of a road may differ from an actual position. The vehicle controller further identifies first control of the vehicle required on the travel lane and second control of the vehicle required on an adjoining lane. The vehicle controller transfers control of the vehicle to a driver in the case where the position of the detected travel lane may differ from the actual position and where both the first control and the second control may compromise safety of the vehicle or prevent completion of a predetermined action to be completed before reaching a predetermined distance.
