    Abstract: A vehicle control system includes a terminal device and a vehicle. The terminal device includes a first verification unit that verifies whether the terminal devices matches the vehicle through wireless communication when the terminal device enters an area in which wireless communication between the terminal device and the vehicle is available, and an operation instruction unit that receives an instruction to execute a predetermined operation of the vehicle from the user and the first verification unit has verified that the terminal device matches the vehicle, and transmits a signal according to the instruction to the vehicle, and the vehicle includes a second verification unit that communicates with the first identification unit and verify whether with the vehicle matches the terminal device, and an operation controller that receives the signal from the operation instruction unit and executes the predetermined operation according to the signal.

    Abstract: An image display device includes: a camera mounted on a vehicle and configured to take an image representing a view behind the vehicle; an image cutouter configured to cut out a second image, from a first image taken by the camera, based on a reference cutout position in the first image; and a display configured to display the second image cut out by the image cutouter. The image cutouter is configured to, when a display object in the first image is to move in a first direction due to change of an orientation of the vehicle, execute a processing in which a cutout position for the second image at a first time point is moved from the reference cutout position in a second direction opposite to the first direction.

    Abstract: The image display device includes a distance obtainer configured to obtain a vehicle-to-vehicle distance between a vehicle and a following vehicle. A controller is configured to: determine a magnitude of an image-cutout angle value based on the obtained vehicle-to-vehicle distance, such that a display state of a rear-view display unit is to be switched from a mirror-surface showing state to a display showing state such that a size of the following vehicle in the mirror-surface showing state is identical to a size of the following vehicle to be displayed in the display showing state; control a display to display a display image created from a cutout image that is cut out in the determined image-cutout angle value; and adjust the image-cutout angle value so as to gradually decrease a size of the following vehicle displayed on the display when the obtained vehicle-to-vehicle distance is greater than a set value.
