摘要: An air flow mixer that mixes two or more air streams that may enter air moving equipment at significantly different temperatures. In particular, methods, systems and apparatuses are disclosed that are directed to an air flow mixer that is structured and arranged to promote cross flow of portions of the air streams relative to each other through the air flow mixer. The cross flow resulting from the structure and arrangement of the air flow mixer avoids sharp delineations or fluid borders between the air streams that can be caused, for example, by a relatively higher temperature of one of the air streams and a relatively lower temperature of another one of the air streams.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are disclosed to isolate operation vibration of a compressor to reduce operational sound. A compressor may include an external shell, and one or more isolators that separate a compression mechanism of a compressor from the external shell. The isolator can help isolate the vibration of the compression mechanism from the external shell. The isolator can also support a weight of the compression mechanism. The external shell can also include one or more internal seals. The internal seals can help separate a low-pressure side (e.g., a suction side) and a high-pressure side (e.g., a discharge side) of the compression mechanism. The compressor may also include a pressure balancing mechanism configured to help reduce a pressure difference between, for example, two ends of the compression mechanism, so as to reduce/eliminate the compression mechanism from physical shift in position due to the pressure difference.

摘要: Systems, apparatus and methods for providing personalized comfort to occupants of a conditioned space. A precision air device having a standalone controllable fan with directional nozzles is provided. The precision air device includes environmental and occupancy sensors, and communicates with a user device and with other precision air devices in the space. Application software installed on an occupant's user device enables the occupant to specify whether it is too cold or too warm within his or her personal space, or microzone. The collective demand of all microzones within a VAV macrozone is determined by a precision air aggregator to adjust a controllable VAV damper for that macrozone.
