    Abstract: A connector system includes a cartridge having a cavity configured to hold one or more connector modules therein. The cartridge has a port opening to the cavity. The cartridge receiving the one or more connector modules through the port. The connector system includes a release mechanism housed in the cavity. The release mechanism configured to eject the one or more connector modules when actuated. The connector system includes a release button exposed beyond the cartridge and operably coupled to the release mechanism. The release button being pressed to an actuated position to activate the release mechanism. The release button is configured to be in a locked position to avoid inadvertent activation thereof.

    Abstract: A press-fit circuit board connector is provided including a housing having a mating end and a mounting end. The housing has a contact holder including a plurality of contact channels. Contacts are received in corresponding contact channels. Each contact has a mating pin and a mounting pin opposite the mating pin. The mating pin is compliant and configured for compliant mating with a corresponding socket contact of a mating connector. The mounting pin is compliant and configured for press-fit mechanical and electrical connection to a circuit board. The mating pins of the contacts are arranged at the mating end to define a pin mating interface having a first pattern and the mounting pins of the contacts are arranged at the mounting end to define a pin mounting interface having a second pattern different than the first pattern.

    Abstract: A connector for a cable assembly includes a shell, a contact housing, and multiple finger clips. The contact housing is held in a chamber of the shell. The contact housing defines contact cavities extending through the contact housing between front and rear ends thereof. The finger clips are held in the contact cavities. The finger clips have deflectable latches. The contact cavities of the contact housing are configured to removably receive electrical contacts therein through the rear end. The deflectable latch of the finger clip in the corresponding contact cavity is configured to engage a retention shoulder of the electrical contact to removably secure the electrical contact in the contact cavity. The electrical contacts held in the contact housing are configured to mate with corresponding mating contacts of a mating connector.

    Abstract: A panel-mountable header connector includes conductors and a housing. The housing holds the conductors in a cavity of the housing. The housing has a front end and a rear end. The housing has a latch set and a stop feature which define a panel mounting zone therebetween. The panel mounting zone is configured to align with an opening in a panel when the housing is mounted to the panel. The latch set is configured to engage a front side of the panel, and the stop feature is configured to engage a rear side of the panel to retain the panel in the panel mounting zone. At least one of the latch set or the stop feature is stepped such that a width of the panel mounting zone is variable to accommodate the panel having one of multiple thicknesses.
