摘要: A printing sheet of this invention includes a substrate sheet and a printing layer which is formed on a surface of the substrate sheet and contains a semi-solidified plaster precursor. Printing is effected on the surface of the printing layer by using, for example, an ink-jet printer. Upon effecting the printing by using the printing sheet, a highly durable image can be vividly formed featuring rugged feeling and painting-like deepness.

摘要: An image display apparatus capable of displaying an image signal of an unknown type. Characteristics of an input image signal are examined and, based on the examined characteristics, an attempt is made to identify the input signal as one of a known type. When the input signal can be identified as one of a known type, the signal is converted into a form suitable for display based on retrieved parameters corresponding to the signal's type. When the input signal can not be identified as one of a known type, the number of vertical lines in the signal is multiplied by a predetermined constant and the resulting product is used to convert the signal into a form suitable for display.

摘要: A printing sheet 1 comprising a base sheet 5 and an inorganic solidified matter layer 3 laminated on the surface of the base sheet 1, the surface 3a of the inorganic solidified matter layer 3 serving as the printing surface, wherein, in an electron microphotograph magnified by 100 times, the printing surface is a surface on where continuous flat surfaces and indefinite protuberances surrounded by said flat surfaces are present being mixed together, the protuberances being present at a ratio of 10 to 30% per a unit area and being observed having sizes or long diameters of 10 to 300 μm and in a number of 50 to 300 per 1 mm2. With this printing sheet, the fiber is effectively prevented from adhering on the surface of the inorganic solidified matter layer on which the printing is to be executed, and images can be finely printed maintaining in good quality without being blurred.

摘要: A method of attaching a decorative sheet in the method of bonding the decorative sheet onto the surface of an underlying material having a corner portion, the decorative sheet having a decorative layer comprising an inorganic cured material formed on one surface of a substrate sheet, the method of attaching a decorative sheet comprising a partly cutting step of preparing the decorative sheet having a cover sheet formed on the surface of the decorative layer maintaining a stripping strength, and incising the decorative layer via the cover sheet in a portion of the decorative sheet corresponding to the corner portion of the underlying material; a folding step of folding the decorative sheet along the incision in a manner that the substrate sheet is on the inside; a bonding step of bonding the substrate sheet of the decorative sheet onto the surface of the underlying material by using an adhesive in a manner that the folded portion of the decorative sheet is in agreement with the corner portion of the underlying material; an external corner-treating step of filling a putty in a gap resulting from the incision in the decorative sheet; and a stripping step of stripping the cover sheet from the decorative sheet. The method makes it possible to easily attach the decorative sheet having the decorative layer comprising an inorganic cured material to the underlying material having a corner portion without requiring any particular skill.

摘要: The present invention provides an architectural material obtained by forming a decorative layer containing calcium carbonate as a binder component on the surface of a base material, and laminating a ventilating protective sheet having a peeling strength of 200 to 4000 mN on the surface of the decorative layer without interposing an adhesive layer separately, and a process for producing the architectural material. The architectural material has excellent soiling resistance or abrasion resistance, and is highly practical.

摘要: An apparatus for dispensing, one by one, a stack of media as stacked in a stacker table by friction rollers to separate and supply the media to the next work station. The friction rollers are rotated in such a manner that rotational force thereof is provided to overcome any frictional resistance generated between the media so that no slip is caused between the rollers to obtain a smooth medium without damage thereto.
