    摘要: Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which a mixture of a graphite material and silicon or a silicon compound is used as a negative electrode active material and which has excellent cycle characteristics. A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, and is wherein the negative electrode contains the negative electrode active material and a negative electrode binder, the negative electrode active material is a mixture of a graphite material and silicon and/or a silicon compound that is contained in an amount less than that of the graphite material, and the negative electrode binder is polyacrylonitrile or a modified form thereof which has been heat-treated.
