摘要: A connection control method is achieved by receiving from a first terminal, a call request for a communication with a second terminal to notify the call request from a connection control server to an application server; and executing at least a program to receive the call request from the connection control server, to request a connection state data of the second terminal to a storage server in response to the received call request. A connection control instruction for the first and second terminals is issued to the connection control server when there is no connection state data of the second terminal in the storage server or the second terminal in a free state. A connection control between the first and second terminals is performed by the connection control server in response to the connection control instruction; and the connection state data of each of the first and second terminals is stored in the storage server when the connection state between the first and second terminals is changed.

摘要: In an information processing apparatus, a connection control method performs a connection control of communication terminals through a network. A call is received from a calling one of communication terminals. The reception of the call is notified to a setting unit which sets the connection control data. The connection control of the communication terminals is performed in response to an instruction from the setting unit. A control is performed to provide a content data for the calling communication terminal before completion of the connection control.

摘要: A content control system capable of controlling delivery destinations of user contents in respective groups, identifying each group through which each content is delivered, and delivering information/advertisements according to the attribution information of the content. In a content control server, group identifying information is set in each user content to be uploaded to or downloaded from a group memory area corresponding to a gateway ID from a terminal through a gateway having a plurality of its subordinate terminals. The information identifies each gateway through which each object content is delivered according to the gateway ID. The control system controls the delivery destination of each content according to the combination of the content delivery route and a table prepared in the content control server.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device for displaying video data having a detection circuit for detecting a luminance distribution based on video data which is inputted, the luminance distribution being indicative of generation frequency of gradations in each of divided region which includes a plurality of gradations. The display device includes a determination circuit for determining at least one of a plurality of divided regions of higher generation frequency of gradation than that of other divided regions based on the luminance distribution, a correction circuit for correcting the video data so as to make a luminance characteristic of the at least one of the plurality of divided regions of higher generation frequency of gradation more abrupt than a luminance characteristic of the other divided regions, and a liquid crystal display panel for displaying the corrected video data. A width of the divided region is changeable.

摘要: A contents management system provides a user who already downloaded valid contents with a mechanism capable of downloading the same contents in a duplication manner. A system for delivering contents checks whether contents which are about to be purchased by the user are the same as contents which are in a validity term and which are already downloaded by the user. If so, the system prepares a new contents ID, DL information and meta information for duplicated buying, and makes duplicated buying of the same contents possible.
