    摘要： An original copy sheet is pre-scanned to obtain pre-scanned image data of a bit map form with a low resolution. The pre-scanned image data is converted to JPEG thumbnail image data. An EXIF file is formed in an external media to store the JPEG thumbnail image data in the EXIF file. The original copy sheet is mainly scanned to obtain main image data of a bit map form with a high resolution. The main image data is converted to JPEG main image data. In the EXIF file in the external media, the JPEG main image data is stored.

    摘要： A facsimile apparatus includes: receiving unit which receives plural types of sheets including facsimile sheets; a printing unit which performs printing on the sheet received in the receiving unit; an operation unit which is operated; a facsimile data receiving unit which receives facsimile data; a reception print controller which allows the printing unit to perform facsimile printing on the basis of the received facsimile data; and a sheet-setting acquiring unit which acquires sheet setting of a type of sheets to be printed, wherein the reception print controller selectively performs reception setting for automatic reception in which the facsimile printing is performed by the printing unit when the facsimile data is received and reception setting for manual reception in which the facsimile printing is performed on the basis of the operation of the operation unit after the facsimile data is received, and the reception print controller performs the reception setting in accordance with the acquired sheet setting.

    摘要： A data communication apparatus includes a calling section that performs a communication by sequentially transmitting a calling signal to a destination, and transmitting a shift notification signal that indicates a shift to a short previous-procedure. A memory stores destination information and modem control information in association with each other. When the destination to which the communication is performed corresponds to the destination information stored in the memory, the calling section transmits the shift notification signal, and controls a modem based on the stored modem control information so as to shorten a previous-procedure.
