    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a three-monomer-based water-soluble copolymer, obtained from an unsaturated monocarboxylic monomer, an unsaturated dicarboxylic monomer, and an unsaturated alcoholic monomer, wherein the water-soluble copolymer can sufficiently exercise excellent performances particularly when used for detergent builders, detergent compositions, water-treating agents, and dispersants. As a means of achieving this object, the water-soluble copolymer according to the present invention has: an unsaturated alcoholic monomer-derived structural unit content of 0.1 to 40 weight % (but not including 40 weight %); and a product of not less than 200 of the calcium-ion-binding ability and the clay dispersibility (which is measured in an aqueous solution having a calcium ion content of 50 ppm in terms of calcium carbonate) under conditions of solid component content=40 weight % and pH=7.5.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a polymer which is suitable as a detergent builder in that it exerts an excellent detergency and it has no adverse effect on the environment, and is suitable as a cement admixture in that it is excellent in cement dispersibility, and workability is better. As a means of achieving this object, a polymer of the present invention is: a polymer obtained by a polymerization reaction using a polyaminepolyether compound, an unsaturated carboxylic monomer and polyalkylene glycols as a raw material, characterized in that an amount of a polyaminepolyether compound is 50% by weight or larger relative to a total amount of a polyaminepolyether compound and polyalkylene glycols; or a polymer obtained by a polymerization reaction using a polyaminepolyether compound and an unsaturated carboxylic monomer as a raw material, characterized in that an amount of an unsaturated carboxylic monomer is less than 15% by weight relative to a total amount of a polyaminepolyether compound and an unsaturated carboxylic monomer, or an unsaturated carboxylic monomer contains acrylic acid as an essential component, and an amount of remaining acrylic acid after the reaction is less than 3% by weight.

    摘要: There are disclosed a novel sulfur-containing poly(unsaturated carboxylic acid) and its uses and production process. A sulfur-containing poly(unsaturated carboxylic acid) having a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 500 to 4,500 and a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of not more than 2.5 is obtained by a production process comprising the step of polymerizing an unsaturated carboxylic acid in the presence of a polymerization initiator to thereby obtain the poly(unsaturated carboxylic acid), wherein: a combination of a persulfate and a bisulfite is used as the polymerization initiator, wherein the polymerization initiator is adjusted in such a manner that: the total amount of the polymerization initiator as used is not smaller than 10 g equivalents per 1 mol of the unsaturated carboxylic acid as used, and the amount of the bisulfite accounts for not smaller than 8 g equivalents of the total amount of the polymerization initiator as used; and the polymerization temperature is controlled so as to be in the range of 25 to 99° C. This polymer is used as an essential component of a detergent builder and a kaolin dispersant.

The detergent composition can enhance anti-gelling properties to calcium ions, improve the dispersibility to solid particles at low temperatures or under high-hardness conditions, and improve detergency against stains such as mud and carbon black.
