    摘要: A flow detecting device is provided to a fluid passage through which a main flow of fluid passes. A sensor body has a bypass passage through which a bypass flow passes from the main flow. The bypass passage has a bent portion, which is located midway through the bypass passage, and an outflow passage, which is located downstream of the bent portion. The flow direction of the bypass flow changes at the bent portion toward the outflow passage through the bypass passage. A heating element is arranged in the bypass passage. The heating element generates heat by being supplied with electricity for detecting a flow amount of fluid. The sensor body has a side surface defining an opening through which dynamic pressure caused by counterflow is released to an outside of the outflow passage when fluid causes counterflow in the fluid passage in a direction opposite to a flow direction of the main flow.

    摘要: A flow detecting device is provided to a fluid passage through which a main flow of fluid passes. A sensor body has a bypass passage through which a bypass flow passes from the main flow. A sub-bypass passage is branched from an intermediate portion of the bypass passage to separate dust contained in air flowing through the duct. A flow rate sensor is located in the sub-bypass passage for detecting the flow rate of air. A first wall surface and a second wall surface of the bypass passage are located upstream from the branch. The first wall surface is located on the side of the branch. The second wall surface is opposed to the first wall surface. Both the first wall surface and the second wall surface are curved to direct airflow to move away from the branch.

    摘要: A flow meter for measuring a flow rate of fluid includes a body providing a main passage through which the fluid flows. A plurality of support elements connect an inner wall surface of the body and a central element so as to support the central element substantially at the center of the main passage. An introducing port opens to the central element for introducing a part of the fluid flowing through the main passage. A branch passage is formed within the central element, through which such part of the fluid flows. A sensor is disposed within the branch passage for measuring a flow rate within the branch passage. An outlet opens to a portion of the central element located at upperstream of the downstream ends of the support elements for returning the fluid flowing through the branch passages to the main passage.

The flow detecting device includes a sensor body, a heating element, a lead portion, and a guard member. The lead portion connects with the heating element via a connecting portion. The guard member is provided to an upstream of the connecting portion with respect to the bypass flow for deflecting the bypass flow from the connecting portion.

    摘要: An air flow measuring device includes a housing, a sensor, and a throttle that is provided on an outer wall surface of the housing. The throttle merges together a bypass-passing flow and an outside-passing flow, and guides the merged flow toward the downstream side with the merged flow narrowed. The throttle includes two raised portions and a cover that bridges between the two raised portions and is opposed to the outer wall surface of the housing. The cover includes an inner surface exposed to the throttle, and an outer surface exposed to outside of the throttle. A peripheral border of the cover includes an upstream edge which defines the outer surface on the upstream side. At least a region of the outer surface including the upstream edge is swollen more outwardly in a shape of a projecting curved surface further on the downstream side.

    摘要: A separator partitions an upstream side air passage of a bypass passage into first and second sub passages. A thermal flow sensor is attached to the separator facing the first sub passage. A convex is formed on the inner wall of an outer pipe defining the second sub passage. The convex protrudes toward the separator. Minimum flow passage area S2 of the second sub passage is smaller than minimum flow passage area S1 of the first sub passage, so that flow passage loss of the second sub passage is larger than flow passage loss of the first sub passage. Thus, measured air-flow amount average when the air-flow pulsates is corrected to be larger.
