    摘要: To enable a circuit configuration to be easily changed over depending on whether a recoil starter is present or absent. A battery charged by a generator driven by an engine, a charging circuit for charging the battery by the generator, and a drive electric power supply circuit for supplying engine drive system loads with electric power generated by the generator, are provided. In a system having a recoil starter, a contact configuration is adopted in which, when an ignition switch is changed over to a recoil start position, the charging circuit is disconnected and the drive electric power supply circuit is connected. The disconnection of the charging circuit may be conducted by use of a charging inhibition relay. The charging inhibition relay is formed as a sub harness, and, in a system not using the recoil starter, the sub harness is replaced by a sub harness in which the charging inhibition relay is not mounted.

    摘要: An electronic key system for a vehicle provides a warning corresponding to a traveling state if an occupant has dropped the electronic key while a vehicle is running. A control unit 14 of the vehicle outputs a request signal Sr to the electronic key 12 at transmission intervals T corresponding to the traveling state. An answer signal Sa caused by the request signal Sr from the electronic key 12 is detected. A warning lamp 68 is lit up at a point after the detection of the answer signal Sa stops. The transmission interval T of the request signal Sr is specified in a map 88 stored in the control unit 14, and is set short corresponding to the increase of the vehicle speed V, the acceleration/deceleration ‘a’, and the yaw rate Y.

The portable electronic key includes an upper cover and a lower cover, a hermetically sealed space is formed, in which electrical equipment such as a board, a battery, and an antenna are arranged. The upper cover and the lower cover are formed of foam resin, and a grain pattern is given to surfaces thereof. A specific gravity of the entire electronic key is set at 1 or less, thus enabling the portable electronic key to float on the surface of the water.

    摘要: A control unit having an immobilizer function includes a circuit for transmitting a request signal within a predetermined range. After receiving a reply signal from an electronic key in response to this request signal once and allowing a movable body to move, when a reply signal to the periodically sent request signal is not received, it is determined that the electronic key is out of the range, and it is assumed that the key has been dropped. A monitor section outputs a warning signal and transmits the warning signal to the navigation unit. A navigation unit, in response to the warning signal, stores the location at that time as the positional information on the electronic key. The navigation unit also displays a map showing the location of a key based on positional information on the electronic key. With this system, a lost electronic key may be readily located.
