摘要: A propylene copolymer composition enabling the production of a film having excellent low-temperature heat sealing ability and blocking resistance, is obtained by blending 1 to 70 wt % of a component A and 30 to 99 wt % of a component B. The component A comprises either a propylene homopolymer or a copolymer of propylene with not more than 10 mol % of ethylene or an a-olefin having a carbon number of 4 to 20, and has a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of not more than 3, a mean elution temperature of 40.degree. to 100.degree. C., and an elution dispersion degree (.sigma. value) of not more than 10. The component B comprises a copolymer of propylene with ethylene and/or an .alpha.-olefin having a carbon number of 4 to 20, and has a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 3.5 to 10.

A highly stereoregular polyolefin having a high molecular weight can be obtained by the above catalyst.

摘要: An aminated polymer having excellent adhesion, printability, and compatibility in polymer blends or the like which are obtained by introducing an amino group, into an isotactic .alpha.-olefin polymer having an olefinic unsaturated bond at its terminus is disclosed. The terminal unsaturated isotactic or syndiotactic .alpha.-olefin polymer is obtained by polymerizing an .alpha.-olefin with a catalyst comprising the combination of a metallocene compound and an alumoxane, and the amino group is obtained by the amination of the terminal unsaturated group, by the addition of a compound containing the corresponding functional group to the unsaturated bond, or by the conversion of a precursor polymer containing a precursor of the functional group into a polymer containing the functional group desired.

摘要: A catalyst for .alpha.-olefin polymerization which comprises the following components (A) and (B):component (A), which is a transition metal compound represented by the formulaQ(C.sub.5 H.sub.4-m R.sup.1.sub.m)(C.sub.5 H.sub.4-n R.sup.2.sub.n)MeXYwherein (C.sub.5 H.sub.4-m R.sup.1.sub.m) and (C.sub.5 H.sub.4-n R.sup.2.sub.n) respectively represent a conjugated five-membered ring ligand coordinating to a metal Me; R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 which may be the same or different and a plurality of each of which can be bonded together, respectively represent a hydrocarbyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, a silicon-containing hydrocarbyl group, a phosphorus-containing hydrocarbyl group, a nitrogen-containing hydrocarbyl group or a boron-containing hydrocarbyl group; Q represents a bonding group which crosslinks the two conjugated five-membered ring ligand; Me represents a transition metal of the IVB-VIB group in the Periodic Table; X and Y, which may be the same or different, respectively represent hydrogen, a halogen atoms, a hydrocarbyl group, an alkoxy group, an amino group, a phosphorus-containing hydrocarbyl group or a silicon-containing hydrocarbyl group; m denotes an integer of 0.ltoreq.m.ltoreq.4 and n denotes an integer of 0.ltoreq.n.ltoreq.4; component (B), which is a methylisobutylalumoxane which satisfies the following conditions (a), (b) and (c): (a) the molar ratio of a methyl group to an isobutyl group being in the range of 4:1 to 1:4, (b) the chemical shift of .sup.27 Al-NMR being in the range of 160 ppm to 250 ppm and the peak having a half-height width of no smaller than 3000 Hz, and (c) it has a repeating unit of Al--O in an amount of 2 to 100. The methylisobutylalumoxane is assumed to be novel.

摘要: A process for preparing propylene block copolymers, comprising a preceding polymerization step in which a crystalline homopolymer of propylene, or a propylene-ethylene copolymer containing 7 wt. % or less of ethylene is produced in the presence of a catalyst comprising the following components (A) and (B), and a succeeding polymerization step in which the polymerization is continued in the presence of at least part of the homopolymer or copolymer, and of the following component (C) further added to give a copolymer with a polymerization ratio (weight ratio) of propylene to ethylene of from 0/100 to 90/10; the polymerization amount at the preceding polymerization step being from 30 to 95 wt. % of the total polymerization amount at the preceding and succeeding polymerization steps;component (A): a solid catalyst component of Ziegler catalysts comprising as essential components titanium, magnesium and a halogen;component (B): an organoaluminum compound; andcomponent (C): an internal olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, or an olefinic compound having 2 to 20 carbon atoms which contains a polar group at its d-position.The process can solve the problem of stickiness imparted to the copolymer due to the existence of a rubber-like copolymer, which has been the conventional problem caused upon preparing a crystalline propylene polymer block and a rubber-like propylene-ethylene copolymer block by a two-step polymerization process.

摘要: Ziegler polymerization of .alpha.-olefins is disclosed which is characterized by a solid catalyst component. The solid catalyst component, Component (A), comprises Sub-component (i) which is a solid catalyst component for Ziegler catalysts comprising Ti, Mg and a halogen; Sub-component (ii) which is a silicon compound having a plurality of a bond represented by a formula: Si--OR.sup.1R.sup.1.sub.m X.sub.n Si(OR.sup.2).sub.4-n-mwherein R.sup.1 indicates a hydrocarbyl group of 1 to 8 carbon atoms, Sub-component (iii) which is a vinylsilane compound, and Sub-component (iii) which is an organometal compound of a metal of Groups I to IV of the Periodic Table. No need of an outside electron donor may be required, and the polymer produced is improved in its content of a "tacky" polymer.

摘要: A method for preparing an .alpha.-olefin polymer in which an .alpha.-olefin is polymerized in the presence of a catalyst, characterized in that the catalyst is a solid obtained by making the following components (ii) and (iii) be supported in the component (i):Component (i): an organic porous polymer having an average particle diameter of 5 to 1,000 .mu.m, in which the total pore volume of all pores whose diameter is 0.006 to 10 .mu.m is 0.3 cc/g or more, and the total pore volume of all pores whose diameter is 0.05 to 2 .mu.m is 50% or more of the total pore volume of all pores whose diameter is 0.006 to 10 .mu.m;Component (ii) a compound having the structure ##STR1## in which R is a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and Component (iii) a compound of a transition metal which belongs to one of the Groups IVB to VIB in the Periodic Table, having at least one conjugated 5-membered cyclic ligand.
