    摘要: An aminated polymer having excellent adhesion, printability, and compatibility in polymer blends or the like which are obtained by introducing an amino group, into an isotactic .alpha.-olefin polymer having an olefinic unsaturated bond at its terminus is disclosed. The terminal unsaturated isotactic or syndiotactic .alpha.-olefin polymer is obtained by polymerizing an .alpha.-olefin with a catalyst comprising the combination of a metallocene compound and an alumoxane, and the amino group is obtained by the amination of the terminal unsaturated group, by the addition of a compound containing the corresponding functional group to the unsaturated bond, or by the conversion of a precursor polymer containing a precursor of the functional group into a polymer containing the functional group desired.

    摘要: A functionalized polymer having excellent adhesion, printability, and compatibility in polymer blends or the like which are obtained by introducing an epoxy group, a hydroxyl group or a sulfonic group into a syndiotactic .alpha.-olefin polymer having an olefinic unsaturated bond at its terminus is disclosed. The terminal unsaturated syndiotactic .alpha.-olefin polymer is obtained by polymerizing an .alpha.-olefin with a catalyst comprising the combination of a metallocene compound and an alumoxane, and the functional groups are obtained by the oxidation, sulfonation or the like of the terminal unsaturated group, by the addition of a compound containing the corresponding functional group to the unsaturated bond, or by the conversion of a precursor polymer containing a precursor of the functional group into a polymer containing the functional group desired.

    摘要: There is provided a modified ethylene resin produced by subjecting (a) an ethylene resin to modification with (b) an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic ester having a hydrocarbon-terminated polyalkylene oxide chain, and with (c) an aromatic vinyl compound and/or (d) an ester of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid with an aliphatic alcohol.There is also provided an ethylene resin composition comprising: (A) 80 to 99.9% by weight of a modified ethylene resin produced by subjecting (a) an ethylene resin to modification at least with (b) an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic ester having a polyalkylene oxide chain; and (B) 20 to 0.1% by weight of a surfactant.

    摘要: An optical resin consisting essentially of a radical polymerization polymer of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, characterized in that at least a major part of the ethlenically unsaturated monomer is an ester of 1 mole of tricyclo[5,2,1,0.sup.2,6 ]decanedimethanol with 2 moles of a mixture of acrylic acid and metharcylic acid. Because the resin is a polymer obtained from the restricted monomer as specified above, the resin possesses high thermal resistance and high heat stability as well as low hygroscopic property. Dimethanol compounds from higher Diels-Alder adducts of cyclopentadine are also used in place of the tricyclo [5,2,1,0.sup.2,6 ]decanedimthanol which is a Diels-Alder adduct of two moles of cyclopentadiene.
