    摘要: A device for handling output information from an electronic computer or the like at high speed utilizing a light beam, said device including a modulator for modulating a light beam in accordance with an image information signal such as a character, design or other output from a computer or the like, a medium for receiving the modulated light beam, means such as a galvanometer mirror for causing the modulated beam to scan the medium and optical means between the modulator and the scanning means for directing the modulated beam along any one of a plurality of light paths extending to the medium, the optical means being effective to vary the image forming characteristics such as image magnification of the beam incident on the medium.

    摘要: An image information device of a construction wherein there are provided a laser oscillator; a modulator capable of modulating a laser beam oscillated from the laser oscillator by an external signal; a photosensitive body consisting essentially of an insulating layer, a photoconductive layer, and an electrically conductive substrate; a principal scanning means such as a polygonal revolving mirror, galvano-mirror, etc. to cause the modulated laser beam to scan the photosensitive body in the principal scanning direction; an optical system to cause the laser beam to focus on the photosensitive body; a position detection means to establish a commencing position of the scanning laser beam on the photosensitive body; means to input an image signal into the modulator in synchronism with the principal scanning means by an output from the position detection means; means to electrically charge the photosensitive body; corona discharge means to impress on the photosensitive body an A.C. corona discharge or a D.C. corona discharge having an opposite polarity to the above-mentioned electric charge simultaneously with, or immediately before, or immediately after, the scanning of the photosensitive body with the laser beam; means to effect overall exposure of the photosensitive body; means to develop an electrostatic latent image formed by the abovementioned means; means to transfer the latent image onto an image transfer material; and means to clean the photosensitive body.

    摘要: A copying apparatus having a changeable copying magnification is provided with focusing lens means having a variable focal length positionally fixed as a whole, and optical path length changing means for increasing or reducing the length of the optical path before or behind the focusing lens. An original to be copied and a photosensitive medium are selectively brought into one of a conjugate relationship for forming a life-size image and a conjugate relationship for forming a reduced or a magnified image. Desirably, the optical path length changing means displaces the optic axis in order to register one side edge of the image at different magnifications to a predetermined position on the photosensitive medium.
