摘要： An objective is to improve the mechanical strength and the durability of a current collector for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery and to allow an active material layer to be efficiently carried on the surface of the current collector with high adhesion. This objective is achieved with the use of a pair of processing means being disposed such that the surfaces thereof are in press contact with each other to form a press nip for passing a sheet material therethrough and having a plurality of recesses formed on the surface of at least one of the processing means, by passing a metallic foil for current collector through the press nip between the processing means to perform compression, thereby to form a plurality of projections on at least one surface of the metallic foil for current collector by partial plastic deformation associated with the compression.

摘要： An electrode 13 has an active material layer 12 formed on each of two whole main surfaces of a current collector 11. A part of an electrode lead 14 overlaps the electrode 13. One end face of the electrode 13 in the width direction of the electrode 13 is flush with one end face of the electrode lead 14. Joints 15 are formed at the one end of the electrode 13 in the width direction. The joints 15 join the electrode 13 and the electrode lead 14 so as to provide electrical continuity between the exposed part of the current collector 11 at the one end face of the electrode 13 in the width direction and the electrode lead 14. The joints 15 are formed, for example, by plasma welding.

摘要： An improved 8-8 mpping table system in digitally and magnetically recording video signals. Video signals coded into natural binary codes consisting of 8 bits are converted into different binary codes consisting of 8 bits constituted by patterns in which a continuous number of the 1's or the 0's does not exceed a predetermined number. In these codes, the continuous number of the 1's or the 0's is so limited that a maximum magnetization interval is reduced in magnetically recording the signals. Therefore, erroneous code is prevented from occurring in reproducing the signals.

摘要： In order to improve the rapidity with which an automatic equalizer can be pulled in when transmitting data at high baud rates, each of the modems of secondary stations are arranged to detect the divergence of the automatic equalizer included therein and induce the issuance of a tone signal which is supplied to the primary station and induces the latter to reissue a training signal. The automatic equalizers in the secondary stations pull in on the training signal which ceases to be issued when the tone signal is no longer generated.

An immunopotentiating method using said water-soluble chitin-oligomer or said water-soluble chitosan-oligomer as the active ingredient is also provided.
