摘要: A support shaft connects between a flange and a pump unit. An intermediate member, which connects between the support shaft and pump unit, enables a relative positional change between the support shaft and the pump unit in an axial direction of the support shaft. The intermediate member limits a relative positional change between the support shaft and the pump unit in a circumferential direction of the support shaft. A resilient member is received in the support shaft and exerts a restoring force in an axial direction of the support shaft to urge the pump unit, which is movable relative to the support shaft in the axial direction, toward a bottom portion of the fuel tank.

摘要: In a multi-processor system (100), when a first processor interrupt generation unit (24) has executed a call command or a jump command in a main routine being executed, it generates an interrupt to a second processor. Upon reception of the interrupt from the interrupt generation unit (24), the second processor saves the return address for returning to the main routing upon completion of the subroutine processing called by the call command in a main memory area (54) other than the first processor or generates a call destination address and a jump destination address and reports it to the first processor. Thus, the first processor can be a small-size circuit capable of flexibly performing processing.

摘要: In a video reproducing apparatus, operating devices and recording devices are connected with a simple structure to record game information while operating the game, and a plurality of small capacity of external secondary memory means can be used as a large capacity of external secondary memory means. The main body of the video game machine is connected to a plurality of the operating devices with a serial interface so that serial data is communicated bidirectionally in accordance with a predetermined communication procedure while at the same time connecting recording devices to the serial interface respectively corresponding to a plurality of operating devices to allow the main body of the game machine to write predetermined data into and read it from recording devices in accordance with a communication procedure. Moreover, the communication controller connected to the main bus to which the central processing unit of the main body of the machine is connected and a plurality of card connectors namely card slots where memory cards connected to the main bus via the communication controller are attached to or detached from freely are provided, and each card slot is independently controlled by the central processing unit via the communication controller to control the writing and/or reading of data extending over the plurality of external secondary memory means.

摘要: An extrusion type coating apparatus for applying a coating film to a support has a bent doctor edge made of cemented carbide having a very large hardness. The bent doctor edge has a very large obtuse angle and the resulting doctor edge allows the coating film to be applied smoothly to the support. Since the doctor edge is made of cemented carbide having a very high hardness, the doctor edge is not unduly worn by abrasives contained in the coating film thereby improving the wear-resistance of the apparatus.

摘要: An apparatus for removing foreign matter from a flexible support such as a photographic film or magnetic tape. After applying a solvent to the surface of the support from which the foreign matter is to be removed, the support is passed over at least two parallel adjacent plates which extend widthwise perpendicular to the direction of movement of the support, with the plates being located relative to the support at a position before the solvent evaporates. The edge surface of the downstream one of the two plates is provided with a cutting edge at the upstream side thereof. The cutting edge forms a gap with the surface sufficiently small that the foreign matter to be removed cannot enter the gap. Further, the gap is large enough to leave solvent film in a thickness of at least 0.2 microns after passing the two plates.
